We're not talikng about that, im just saying its more logical that we were created, than arrived by random chance. Who knows maybe god created the Universe through evo and abio or whatever. I just don't see it possible for there not to be a god.

I believe in God because the universe is too precisely ordered by mathematical and physical laws to conclude that it came about entirely without intelligent design behind the work. In other words, I think it's impossible that such an amazing and infinitely intricate universe, governed by such exact laws, could have come about by mere chance. The premise that the universe and life came about through a chance, chaotic explosion defies logic.

Now, how you want to define "God" is another discussion altogether. And proving that there is a God is impossible, in my estimation. At the end of the day, however, the complexity of the universe and all that it contains is proof enough for me to conclude that intelligent design was behind it.

Im just going with logic, why can't you accept that?

Is it just to insane to beleive we were created by a higher being? For reason? for purpose?

Or is it rational to beleive we came as a result of shear randomness, for no reason, purpose or cause?

I was not the one who made the absolute statement about causality -- the one who did is you, ergo the burden of proof rests with you to support your statement. Your logic is subjective and untenable and I will not accept it because of its nature.

It is a baseless conjecture that serves the mere purpose of comfort but does not prove anything. You have faith in your deity as the answer but lack any evidence, for faith does not prove anything. It is what you would call "pure speculation" if stripped of all terms that relate to your beliefs.

Prove it.

You prove it did.

Im just going with logic, why can't you accept that?

Is it just to insane to beleive we were created by a higher being? For reason? for purpose?

Or is it rational to beleive we came as a result of shear randomness, for no reason, purpose or cause?

*playing devils advocate*

okay, this first cause argument does not prove anything really. at best it proves a deist God. do you mind if we discuss a better case for christianity over PM?

IM just wondering why cpjt thinks its so illogical to beleive in god.

Because god doesn't exist,Its like a bedtime story for comfort.

Then 90% of the world are complete fools.

People created god to try and give meaning to life when they relised there was none, it is a hard thing to accept, but its true.

Im not basing it off proof although there is enough. Im basing it on logic.

Can a painting form by itself without a intellegent painter? According to you yes it can.

A painting is by definition designed by a human being. This argument is not a valid premise of the other about the universe.
