Why do you guys listen to bad music?

but yea, i just cleared my cache then logged out then back in, as Jody had instructed, and im able to use FF.

The screaming metal music is garbage. It is not music, it is not art. It is just brainless and talentless yelling with no point in the songs. Rap is also a genre with a lot of grabage in it. Sexism and homophobic and racism, I do not see how people could listen to that and think it's good music.

But in the end it is all subjective. I remember when I was in High School though a lot of people would just listen to certain music or genres because they think it gives them an identitiy.

Everyone has different taste, what's bad to one isn't bad to another, so bad music is subjective.

Sure, Diittersdorf might have done nothing wrong in his compositions, but they are extremely, for the lack of a better term, boring. To take another example from the classical realm, but to the 20th century. Is atonal music bad because on first listening one might one might not enjoy it?

Perhaps I am taking this to far from my classical world.....but it is just how I view music.

I listen to plenty of music that I think's pretty stupid, because it's fun to listen to.
