If Crysis is anything to go by, nuclear weapons will make them stronger if the nukes do not explode on the inside (mothersihp, strider). With the regular aliens, normal guns work.

There will never be any aliens even if there are many other lifeforms out there cuz simply the laws of physics dont allow any remotely practical journey into another galaxy.

I take this topic seriously. I have no idea why obama wants to rid the world of nukes. I guess he thinks that there is the risk of causing world war 3. personally, to me, without nukes we would be utterly defensless. think about it. what if we get rid of our nukes, and our enemies say they are getting rid of theirs when they are really putting theirs into storage or something? also, i agree 100% on the aliens thing. sure, there is a chance that nukes wouldnt work on them, but nuclear weapons are our most powerful weapons. its all we got. another thing you would have to realize is that scientifically nukes would be very effective against energy shields, should the aliens have them.

EDIT: Even if we could travel at the light of speed it would still be Humanly impossible to travel to another galaxy. Light is consider fast on earth but when taking about traveling to another galaxy SOL is very very slow, and know human would survive the trip until we some how create something that gives us immortality.

My friend was posted there for a few years, there are no aliens in there. They conducted lots of banned experiments like using hydrazine (used in satellites)to create superfast anti-gravity vehicles which people took it as alien space crafts.
