Why does the world hate on Jews/Israel?

They're different things. Hating on israel is usually hating on zionists, or fundamental jews. These are the people building settlements inside palestine areas, and then demanding their army to defend them. They're as bad as any fundamental religious people. They claim that the land belongs to them, and use it as an excuse to force palestinians out of the way. Not all jews are zionists (by far), and I actually read a book once about the conflicts between zionists and non zionists in america. It's really about the mindset, and the principles (that you can just force a nation away from where they live based on your religion) that they have.

Hating on jews is just racist, wrong etc.

I dont hate Jewish people or Isreal. Its just a very complicated position that may never get sorted out full as both sides have good arguments. The only way anything good can come of it is when the palistinians and israilies can come to a compromise but i wouldnt pretend to know where to begin with that.

Incorrect. All four Gospels clearly show it was the Romans that killed Jesus.:)

Well the jews condemned him,Pontius Pilate wanted to let him go but yea.. the jews wanted him dead.

It was not the Jews (as a whole) that turned him over/had him condemned, but the small minority that was the corrupt head priests that were afraid that his influence would hurt their power/authority. That is like saying bikers are thugs even though less than 1% belong to criminal gangs.

I think most of the reason is the fact that the Palestinians where forced out of their homes to make room for the Jews after WWII which was promised to them by the Allies, so the Allies are at fault for the conflicts there. so to speak. However, onecan also point the finger at the Jews that they didn't decline the offer and settle in other countries peacefully. It may be over the top, but to a certain extent, I think that is correct.

I dont hate Jews, I just think Israel has done some terrible things, so have Palestine. They are both bad to me, and I dont see their stupid conflict ending anytime soon.

I didn't read this particular wiki^, but I was surprised to find out a while back that Martin Luther, who initiated the Protestant Reformation, was a huge anti-semite. Check out this wiki on Luther's book, Jews and Their Lies. It made me go *shock face* when I read it.

I have no problem with Jewish people, personally.

Thas was indeed a shocking revelation. Luther's rhetoric is so similar to that used by the Nazis centuries later that I find it difficult to resist implicating him in laying the foundations of the Holocaust. :shock:

Again, not to sound racist, but the jewish holocaust is over-emphasized in films and the teaching of WW2. Similar things happened to the Chinese at the hands of the Japanese, or the Russian people on a much larger scale under Stalin, but we never hear about those things.
