Why doesn't Jesus like me?

ok I'm a Christian and all but if u want my opinion u were kind of testing God. It sounded almost like u pretty much said show yourself to me right now or i'm not going to believe in you. If u want my honest opinion think about if u truly ever believed in Jesus to begin with or u just followed your family's beliefs. then ask yourself if all those friends felt Jesus at least once in their lifes why can't u trust them and know thaty Jesus loves and cares about u. Why would Jesus specifically choose u to not care about. The answer is He wouldn't. Give Him another chance and you'll be amazed at what he can do.syorks

It's not that he doesn't love you, don't ever thnk that. I'm fifteen, and i too had doubts, but instead of saying a prayer, I investigated the evidence of my faith. I found resources such as Lee Stobel ( look him up ), and Kent Hovind ( Yes, I know he's in jail, calm down ), and Charles Swindall and others. They've written books showing evidence for the Christioan faith, which has been EXTREMELY helpfull to me. Also, you can just pick up a Bible. Look in Isiah, it predicts Jesus' birth, birth place and death, aswell as specific information on his death. All of which have historicall basis as well as having the bible to back it up. Remember that Ishiah was written hundreds of years before Jusus' birth, and nothing but devine intervention could have made that happen. Also, this is not recomended but, you can look at all the demonic things and sightings and possesions to see that there is a satan, as described in the Bible, seeing as there is a satan that fits the Bible's description, its not hard to realize that there is a God. I'll tell you a story. I used to be Christian. I took everything on faith. When I was about 14 though I started to have doubts. My Baptist grandmother always told me about this little prayer to recite if I ever doubted Jesus. One day I discovered the definite way to cast away all my doubts. The only problem was that it could also crush my beliefs. I would pray sincerely and wholeheartedly to Jesus to come into my life so I could feel his loving embrace that many of my peers had told me about. So I did. And then I recited the prayer again and agian...nothing. Does Jesus not like me. I was absolutely sincere in my prayer yet I sensed nothing, no change in my demeanor, no comforting sense of love. So to all, Christians. How do you respond? Where's Jesus? But, then again, should I even have to look for the God of the universe and his presence which pervades everything in existence? espoac

yea you should. Jesus is in heaven preparing those places for those going up there. He does he hear your prayers, and he is gonna answer them. he answers prayers when he feels its time, itskinda a way to test your faith. One scripture said, "Keep asking, you will receive, keep seeking, you willl find, keep knocking, door will open" something like that. Just keep going man and dont lose your faith.

This is possibly the worst places to get any advice on anything mildly related to religion. Your better off going to a Pastor/Preacher/Minister/etc for advice but definitely not here.Ezgam3r
