It really doesn't help us by not having fur.
Makes me wonder how early humans withstood the winters of the past.

Early hominids had fur but we adapted to the point that we didn't need it anymore due to having the intelligence to create clothes and what not.
That seems counter-productive. Getting rid of what keeps us warm that way we can invent ways to keep us warm :/Early hominids had fur but we adapted to the point that we didn't need it anymore due to having the intelligence to create clothes and what not.

we don't have hair on our body due to lice. We needed a barrier that lice couldn't get across. Scientist have actually studied lice strains that can be traced to early ape evolution.imaps3fanboy
People have hair on their arms and legs and you say they don't have it on their body?

On their body, meaning their torso.
F***ing moron
We are african animals so our main problem was heat more than cold. Also once we became biped we kept fur on top of the head since there is where the sun rays make direct contact. Non biped animals need more protection from sun rays since more body area is affected directly. Also losing fur had other advantages, it allowed our skin to become a very efficient temperature regulating system by allowing us to sweat through our skin instead of our mouths like dogs do for example. That also allowed to liberate the mouth for better communication during long hunting seasons since our skin did the job fairly well and thus it helped with the evolution of language too.It really doesn't help us by not having fur.

Your clearly not familiar with the aquatic ape theory I see.
It's only a hypothesis, last I heard.[QUOTE="AussieePet"]

Yeah thats your life point of view . 2012 i assume the world has only been around for 2012 base on my beliefs. But i forgot you believe in Evolution or big bang.Early hominids had fur but we adapted to the point that we didn't need it anymore due to having the intelligence to create clothes and what not.

Actually there are some types of lice that evolved for clothes which means we have used clothes for a loooong time. There were other more important pressures for the loss of fur than lice.

It actually has some grounds though I suppose. In the earlier African savanna climate changed constantly, which was the main driving force of human evolution.[QUOTE="AussieePet"][QUOTE="imaps3fanboy"]Yeah thats your life point of view . 2012 i assume the world has only been around for 2012 base on my beliefs. Noo im just saying this is a new world according to the bible.
Humans don't have fur so we can sweat. A deer doesn't sweat, it has to pant like a dog. So ancient humans could chase deer and eventually that deer would have to stop to pant or it would over heat. A human doesn't need to pant because we can sweat it out. It has to do with hunting animals.

[QUOTE="Aljosa23"]That seems counter-productive. Getting rid of what keeps us warm that way we can invent ways to keep us warm :/ But you're forgetting that loss of fur also contributes to helping keep cool, which was probably even more important considering the warmer climate. Humans compensate for lack of fur by producing clothes to keep warm instead, because we have the intelligence to do so.Early hominids had fur but we adapted to the point that we didn't need it anymore due to having the intelligence to create clothes and what not.

The world is not 2012 years old. It's only about 300 to 400 years old, tops. I dont believe all that ancient history crap. People just didnt know how to keep good track of time.
[QUOTE="imaps3fanboy"][QUOTE="AussieePet"] I might be wrong but its just what i believe in i know it sounds stupid but theres worse i believe . AussieePetPlease tell. Well i read the bible it says God destroyed the earth , and the one we are in now is the new earth which is exactly 2012 years old. You don't believe in God so im not going to expect you to believe what i say is remotely true. oh my god....aussiepet you deserve an award my chest hurts so bad from laughing
