Why don't you make a topic?

For me, I always pull a blank. Most of them flop...except for one good one a couple years ago. It got a few pages.

Maybe its just a lack of creativity, or maybe its a fear of making one I'd really like to, but don't wanna be modded. :P

How say you?

I don't feel like making a topic.

I can never think of anything interesting that I think people would want to discuss. I have made a couple threads before but they usually flop pretty hard. I resist the urge to bump them.

I can think of some topics, but I usually refrain because I don't think it's worthy enough to contribute something to OT.

Because only 2 possible things will happen.

1) Your opinion will be popular and nobody will need a reason to post and your thread will die.

2) Your opinion will be unpopular and will spend your afternoon trying to convince a couple of blockheads that your right.

Neither one really appeals to me.

The fact that I have to stick around and defend my points for as long as the topic remains open holds me back from making them more often.

I honestly have nothing to say. I'm not clever enough to come up with interesting topics.

I have no problem making topics, I just have been lazy lately. I don't just make topics for the sake of making topics, a practice I think drags down the quality of OT in general.spazzx625

my topics almost always fail.

i've only had two of them go past one page, and the only epic thread i've ever made got me Modded (the April Fool's Day fiasco).

I also fear the following word: "OLD."

I made a couple topics but they always get bumped off page one pretty quickly =PAllicrombie

I'm too lazy to make topics since everything I could make a topic about is either incredibly obscure and no one would know what I'm talking about, or it's entirely too common and no one would care.

I'm afraid I'll be judged if my topic isn't good enough. :cry:

I rarely make topics because in my limited experience, I operate at a much higher level intellectual, intrinsically, and vocabularly. Therefore, most of my cerebral fortitude is wasted and I get comments like, "LOLz liek me2!!"FragStains

I've made a few topics. Some have flourished, others failed miserably. I try to only make them for a topic worth discussing.
