[QUOTE="mindstorm"]I completely agree.
God created a perfect world but due to the sin of man, the perfect world became imperfect and perverted. This perversion of perfection is seen through every sin. Homosexuality is one of these perversions. This isn't how we were meant to live. God gives what are essentially guidelines for how to live a fulfilled life in keeping his commandments and bringing him glory with our lives.
The very first thing God told us to do was to be fruitful and subdue the earth. By living in the corrupted state of homosexuality, we are going against the very thing he told us to do. Children are a blessing especially when seen as a gift from God. By being homosexual, one is basically missing out on that gift.
Yes, I'm aware they try to get around that by having children from less natural means but I'd imagine there is nothing in this world like having a child that not only shares your features but that of your spouse.
Indeed many have to adopt their children but as a Christian, I am an adopted child of God. To know that he is essentially my Dad is an amazing thought to comprehend.

But how do you know all of that? Its all based on faith, and I don't think faith should come above a gay person's rights to exist freely. It's why I believe and I get my beliefs from the Bible. I too believe homosexuals should exist freely but that doesn't mean I agree with the idea of such an important tradition being practiced in such a way. As a Christian I believe marriage is ordained by God and therefore if the relationship is against God's intent, it shouldn't be carried out.[QUOTE="mindstorm"] I completely agree.

So heterosexuals who can't have children are also sinning then, since they "are going against the very thing he told us to do".
I didn't mean they were sinning. Jesus himself had no children and was without sin.
