Well...and why Olbermann is still allowed to appear on TV? He became worse than O'Reilly, but unlike him he isn't a ratings magnet

Or do only pro-democrats tv hosts are allowed to make fools of themselves, while converative ones should be denied this? :)

AdrianWerner
NICE!!! All of the democrats are just upset at O'Reilly, Hannity, and Beck because they are the only people on tv who are not afraid to say what is unpopular, and what is against the left. We did not complain nearly as much when Bush was in office about Olbermann and those guys as much as you complain about our big three. This is why we have freedom of the press.

Because ratings are awesome. And he's hardly the worst on that channel.

As others have noted it is about the ratings. Dude could be spot on about everything he says and if it doesn't bring in the viewers he'd be out the door.

Maybe because of the right to free speech that is explicitly spelled out in the first amendment? It's people like you who are raping our nation by advocating the silencing of those who do not share your views. Bill O'reilly and Sean Hannity may be bad, but their journalism is flawlessly honest when compared to Keith Olberman, Chris Matthews, or Rachel Maddow. They all, however, are humans and citizens of this country, so they have the right to say anything they choose without fear of punishment. You are the one who deserves a horrible death.

His journalism isn't flawless if he can't get his facts right. I watch neither him or Olberman because I personally don't care for political talk shows, but Bill O is a joke. Him thinking he can send his FOX Security team out to get people that call his show who he dislikes what they say is ridiculous as well. I like what Snoop Dog says about him. I won't link because I'll probably get modded for it, but ya'll should youtube it. It's funny.

Because he happens to be human, which entitles him to certain rights, the first of which being the right to freely express his opinion on his television and radio shows.

Theokhoth
Does he still have the right to spread a wickid agenda while shouting down his guests, slandering many noble people and encite murder? ... Yes? Ah **** democracy I'm moving to North Korea.

That was a joke, right?

Hannity, especially, distorts what Obama and Dems say all the time. OReilly is somewhat better, but he definitely holds Dems to a different standard than Repubs.

O'Reilly is far from Fox News' worst anyway, although as far as I know he has the most viewers of any of their shows so I guess he's worse in that regard.

Yup. Partisans act like partisans.

At least Olbermann has the courage to admit he's a biased Liberal. OReilly hides behind the "Traditional American" label because he doesn't have the spine to admit he's a conservative. In fact, OReilly thinks he's an independent.

[QUOTE="XD4NTESINF3RNOX"]

....or you could just not watch him man that was a hard decision:roll:

Oblivionfan10

But thats too hard to do

I don't know who Bill O'Reilly is so I shouldn't be even replying to this topic, but i'm a little tired of that easy reply of "don't watch it". If something is offending someone they may want to express why, I will hear them out, maybe i'll agree. It's too easy to say "don't watch it". It's like hell, if they are bringing a Nazi UKmorning breakfast show on BBC4, you don't like it? Don't watch it.

I know that's taking it to extremes and not really in the same scale but still, sometimes the existence of something can offend someone once they are in the knowledge of it, and that problem they may want to face, talk about, reason with, not just ignore it.

BBC used to have a program called 'Points of View'where people wrote in feedback to the programs, if someone complained the host wouldn't sneer at the camera and go"Then don't watch it if you don't like it" Seriously, if that's all anyone has to say with a topic then just don't bother.
