Heres a few tips.

1) Don't talk about anime during school. Or any of that lame crap.

2) Don't try to relate to people through video games. It's creepy.

3) Play a sport. If you're tall and fit you don't need to.

4) Don't talk or do nerdy things. This one kid thought it was alright to solve rubix cubes during class in his spare time.

5) Clean yourself up. If you have long hair, cut it. Get a good hair cut and respect yourself.

6) Don't look gothic/emo or wear a lot of black. If you do, you're going to be stuck with the nerds/goth kids. You'll be back to where you started.

Seriously, all of this should get you on your feet. But if you already have a bad reputation people won't want to be friends with you.

CptJSparrow

Because cliques are incredibly important to your healthy development.

Well its more about not getting bullied to hell rather than being cliques.

Here's a good tip if someones trying to beat you up. It's worked wonders for me before.

Tell them "Let your anger be like a monkey in a pinata: hiding with the candy, hoping the kids don't break through with the stick."

I'm serious, it works.

That's more of hollywood than factual... most bullying occurs in middle school. However, if I see a "goth" or "nerd" getting bullied (which never happened), I will remind them that they will always be superior to the brainless fool who apparently thinks it's virtuous to be stupid and aggressive. In all seriousness, being able to beat someone up doesn't amount to anything in school or the work force. As Bill Gates once said... "Be kind to your geeks. You'll probably end up working for them one day." You may not be a social butterfly if you dress differently or think differently, but you are a much more honest person by having the courage to do so. You will not earn quality friends by being dishonest, especially about yourself.

No, they'll slowly become inferior, because bullies get far in life and those who deserve to get far become miserable failures. And it amounts to quite a lot; you'll end up getting the harsh end of justice while those who actually need that end get off free, and are often times preferred by everyone. And they may not have quality friends, but they do have friends. Nobody ever befriends the victim.

Because you've been through life so many times that you already know how things will work out, you've seen that exact pattern right? Seriously man, you're acting like such a little emo kid, quit complaining about things. You also still have yet to describe what your personality is like so no one can really help you.

Bullies get far in life? I'll concede that it's possible, but do you consider the bully's mental state? A person who constantly tries to make themselves superior is a person who suffers from an inferiority complex, and usually tries to play victim. The bully persona is just a character. They are preferred by those who they defend in their bullying (i.e. the herd), and if you honestly believe that nobody befriends the victim of bullying, you haven't met many kind people.

I've seen it quite a lot of times that I've come to find it true. And I don't think anyone can tell their personality with 100% accuracy. Besides, if I told you, you'd have reason to bully me as well.

I've met a crapload of people, and there are only three types of people: the bullies, their friends and the victims. And the ratio of bullies+their friends to victims is about 80:1.

Every human being is unique. Grouping them into arbitrary groups is wholly unreasonable. As I said, a person bullies to satisfy their impoverished ego.

And it amounts to quite a lot; you'll end up getting the harsh end of justice while those who actually need that end get off free, and are often times preferred by everyone. And they may not have quality friends, but they do have friends. Nobody ever befriends the victim.tzar3

Because you've been through life so many times that you already know how things will work out, you've seen that exact pattern right? Seriously man, you're acting like such a little emo kid, quit complaining about things. You also still have yet to describe what your personality is like so no one can really help you.

Seriously, its hopeless to help this guy, let em live in his own little hell he calls life. A wimp, nothing more. Instead of standing on his own two feet and move on he rather complains about it hopeing people will feel sorry for him and gets attention.

Read that and tell me with a straight face that isn't blatant bullying. I've tried taking a stand, it backfired. I got in trouble. And it wasn't even behind the scenes, it was blunt and in the middle of class.

Ehh.

To some people, High School is great fun. But to others, not so much.

I can understand both sides, for I was once on both of them. I only have two more years of High School. Freshman year sucked, because I barly knew anyone besides my brother's friends, and most of my old friends from Middle School left to different High Schools. But the next year was a lot of fun, I met lots of new people and gained a reputation (More on this later), and mostly everybody was acting their age, well, except the incoming Freshman. It was very fun.

I rarely got bullied, hell, I don't think I have been at all since entering High School 2 years ago. Probably because my older brother is one of the most popular kids at High School. So if I ever get bullied, I'll have an entire army of all my brother's friends (Which is basically 1/4 of the school), some of them work out and are on the football team. They know me very good, and respect me. You may think that I am lying and trying to be a show off, I'm not. I'm 100% true to this post.

Oh well, thats my little story of how High School went so far for me. Some of you may think I'm lucky. I am, and truely grateful that my brother has improved my High School experience. Hopefully, I will look back at High School decades from now and remember the fun times I had then.

I've met a crapload of people, and there are only two types of people: the bullies and their friends.

Every human being is unique. Grouping them into arbitrary groups is wholly unreasonable. As I said, a person bullies to satisfy their impoverished ego.

I've seen the bullies, and their egos are anything but impoverished.

If you stick with that defeatist attitude, you'll always look for (and find) the bad, while overlooking the good. If you're convinced that everyone knows you as a loser, you'll always act like one. If you really can't break the cycle, try a different school - redesign yourself!

Did you notice that everyone is being harsher than they usually would be because they're trying to smack some sense into you? You didn't even tell me your personality because you're worried about bullying, I'm guess there's something about your personality that you don't want to share on the anonymous internet. If you wont say anything no one can help you, most people have pretty much had enough with your blindness and taking tzar's advice is probably a good idea...stand on your own two feet and stop complaining you little emo kid.

I save the complaining for here, and I literally have tried standing up. I went to the administration, I got into the bully's face, and they've both driven me further down the path of depression.

Because you're so damn negative. I've been nice this whole time and I have to tell you the truth: I'm more of a realist and you are acting like a wimp. Instead of saying "oh noes my world sux I've tried everything", take all of the advice we've given you and give yourself a sort of resolution and try to live by some of the stuff. You're situation is not going to get better if you're not willing to try anything. Action means more than words ever will. Sitting complaining won't do anything. Go out and work out, try playing sports, go into school with a smile, take walks, don't try to stereotype yourself into a certain group of people. Half the people who make fun of you probably don't even know you. If you get paired in a group in class with someone who doesn't know you, but makes fun of you. Don't be a negative as*hole, instead try your best to make a good impression.

Totally opposite from my school.

Girls are all ugly minus a few girls who are taken anyways and into drugs etc.

Teachers actually pick on the kids, when you see your science teacher picking on the fat kid in your class by telling him to go eat some more pies you wonder whats going on

It's boring and depressing. :(

I think that a lot of kids in kindergarten are more mature than the average person at my school (high school).

Small children often have a sense of maturity that nobody older has..

Read that and tell me with a straight face that isn't blatant bullying. I've tried taking a stand, it backfired. I got in trouble. And it wasn't even behind the scenes, it was blunt and in the middle of class.

No one has bullyed you, have you noticed that everyone is trying to help you?

You don't go to the administration. They basically say, if a person is skull-*ucking you to death in a fight, don't fight back just yell for an administrator.
