[QUOTE="cousin_eddy"]I don't really watch hospital shows in general so my question is, why are hospital dramas so hpyed?freshgmanyeah hospitals in reality are quite boring. i did a co-op there and it was nothing like i expected. I bet, I would be bored as well. I think the only hospitals I like are the ones located in Silent Hill...or in neighboring towns of Silent Hill.

House is a great show. :) Sure the format for each episode is a little repetitive, but they've shaken it up very well lately, like the patient taking House hostage for example. Plus, you watch it for the story amongst all the characters going on WHILE they're trying to treat the patient. It's a good, entertaining show. :)Ninja-Hippogod that was a great episode...did you know they guy who took house hostage is now the hunter on heroes...i knew he looked familiar but i couldnt place the face untill now
Its kinda like Scrubs without all the bad humor and faux deep emotional parts. They just make Cox the main character and make the show good to watch. Sounds awesome to me. DJ_NovakainThat's kind of a good comparison. Dr. Cox is the best part of Scrubs. I like House, though I won't say it's the best show on tv. It's just a lot of fun to watch.

Unless you're the patient... Which is part of the perspective of the show.
Because it's awesome they actually stick to the science in this show unlike grey anatmy and scrubs witch are all about reltionships even if the chances of someone going through is like 1/10000 it still possable.I guess the show survived for so long because of house's character.kemar7856his character is quite annoying and predictable. no one on the show seems to stand up to him etc

If you stand up to someone with his personality, it wouldn't actually solve anything. It would be like an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.
Life and Death can add drama. Granted House has gone down interms of quality. They introduced new characters was before the existing ones got stale. I don't enjoy the new staff or care about them and there is no longer any character development. I still watch it but I am losing intrest.kakkarott23the whole romance between foreman and 13 isnt going well
[QUOTE="SpaceMoose"]I've never watched it, and that's mostly because I can't imagine how a show about fictional sick or injured people could be interesting.freshgmanthey focus on in hospital relationships etc so it's a drama with fake hospital situations. lame. Gimme Bones anyday, at least they're focusing on relationships with super cool lab rats and the FBI :o

[QUOTE="blazinpuertoroc"]its a great showfreshgmanyour a racist but your a good doctor so its ok! It is implied various times that the House isn't really a racist. It certainly sounds like he is being facetious when ever he says racist things.

That's because it's quite repetitive. I don't blame Hugh for wanting to leave the show...
