I purchased an uncensored version of the Marshall Mathers LP, and I noticed that some lyrics are still censored. In "Kim" the words "four" and "boy" are censored in a line and then on the song Marshall Mathers, Eminem is supposed to say "It doesn't matter your[attorney Fred Gibson's a]******!", however the words "attorney Fred Gibson's a" is blanked out. Why is this? Why are these songs censored even on the uncensored record?

No, Best Buy, and it is the explicit version of the album as Kim is still on it and the all the profanity is left in.

so some of the songs have profanity, but others don't?

look up the songs in question on youtube and see if they have it blanked out

I can see the attorney's name being blanked out, after all he coulda sued for defamation (or is it libel?). Not sure about those other words, though.

Didn't the BBC censor a rap song with the lyric "free Palestine" in it?

Some words on the uncensored version of the album are censored. Just the way it is.

I think I had that one uncensored. It may just be a mistake.

The attorney probably sued him. That's why. Back around that album through Encore Em was known for being sued a lot for dissing people in his personal life.

Megadeth's reissue of "Killing Is My Business..." had one song heavily censored due to legal issues (the original writer of "These Boots" didn't like Dave Mustaine's rewriting of his lyrics, so he sued). I bet something similar is going on w/ Eminem.
