Why OT?

What made you ventured to the land of OT? I used to post on the game boards exclusively and got a bit bored talking about games or systems. Yeah I used to go to System Wars. So every once in awhile I'd check out OT. Seemed a rather unsual place and I'd leave again. At some point I made a post or two and the rest is history.

But what about OT captured your imagination and bewitched your senses?

Basically the same way you entered the foray LJS. Except instead of SW it was the Xbox 360 forums for me.

Because i stalk you when your sleeping and when your awake. I know if you bad or good :twisted:and am coming to town.

The first time I joined gamespot I used to post on xbox 360 board because I used to know a lot about that system and it's games.Then later on I stopped playing games for a while and I forgot things about them and I didn't feel like giving unexperienced opinions and details on several topics.

Then I started posting on OT for the reason that it was interesting and it had way more cool topics about life in general and not only about stuff related to videogames which I am interested in too as well.

Well, when I first joined, I started posting in unions but a few weeks later I got bored posting in them so I decided to explore more forums from the site and that's when I founded OT and I actually like it here but thank goodness I never post in the SW.

Because it's full of cool people who have at least some brains, unlike other forums. And the topics are fun to make and post in.

I dont even remember how I found out about it, but I just liked that its random.

That you can discuss about pretty much anything here. Also the fact that there are so many users (most come for a while and then leave for ever) that its just new people every month.

Posted in the system boards a lot. One day the forums where pretty slow so I started looking around for a place to post. Found OT thought it was pretty funny and interesting and started posting there. (though I don't really come to OT all that often, and when I do I don't always post)

I am and i skipped to the front , Just to let you know i have those missing hairs of yours :lol:

I've always posted in OT. I find it easier to talk about non-gaming topics.

Also, the General Games Discussion board is half-dead.:P This board seems the most active.

I would say that about 95-98% of my posts are somewhere in OT.:o

The veterans of OT caught my attention. There was a lot of good humor then, what with Jaydough running the YLYL threads.

Because I become bored with repetitive things. I started on System Wars but got tired of the whole "You're a cow, PS3 sux, lolololol!" Then I moved to the Wii board. Got bored with that too. And now that I'm on OT, there's really no where else to move up to here on GS.

After the mass exodus of people from SW after Gerstmann left, the place went to hell. Funny and joke topics, loads of trolls, etc. etc. Then eventually the mods cracked down, people were banned left and right, many good users were gone, and the place became boring with the same topics being posted every day or two. The past year has been worse since very few good games have come out, and SW is now basically Sony vs. Microsoft. PC is excluded and there are no Nintendo fans left after GS' butchered several reviews earlier this year.

I came to OT when the topics became so monotonous on SW, and I still go back every once in awhile but I mostly post here now.
