It's a nice change of pace from System Wars. To be honest, I don't even venture into System Wars these days. I usually visit the few gaming unions I'm in for my fix of gaming news and discussion.
[QUOTE="topsemag55"]I remember his YLYL threads. He had lots of new and funny stuff  Still do. Though, I only post on TFG nowadays. The veterans of OT caught my attention. There was a lot of good humor then, what with Jaydough running the YLYL threads.
OT seems a lot darker than it was a few months ago.:?

[QUOTE="jaydough"] Still do. Though, I only post on TFG nowadays. kulmiyeWhilst you still here could you explain the "touch shoulder" nonsense going on in TFG's forum. Instead of completely removing words, TFG's censors system turns cuss words into euphemisms. The censoring is optional, members can turn it off.
]Its just a censor. The f word is replaced with the expression "shoulder touch". :PTeenaged

If thats advertising, then anyone expressing their taste in music, is advertising the bands/artists they mention.

Yes, he did. I wish someone could convince him to take up the mantle once again.
People have opinions and personality on OT, that's why I love it the most and why I post on here, albeit not much, but w.e
OT boards are generally the first boards I go to as the gaming boards generally have the same ol' same ol' discussions going on. OT boards tend to have discussion about more things I'm interested in such as movies and music as well as just odd distraction threads that keep me amused.
When I started here, I went to the gaming foruns first, but then I saw OT, and thought "hmmmm...this must be interesting..". So I checked out, liked it, and, well, here I am. ;)
I thought it was really cool and popular, so I just wanted to fit in. :P 8)

Your avatar sorta makes you stick out. :P
I used to read the reviews and look at cheats but then I got bored of just video games so I explored the site.
Then I found OT and it stuck to me.

Jaydough, we want you back here in OT!
Before that, i only used my GS account to post in General games and GameFAQs different games boards. People there hate GSers and everythingGSers post, so i decided to stay a little closer to home, sticking to general games more often. Problem is,theboard moves rather slow, so i went to check out which forum has the most posts and BAM, OT.
This was one of the first forums i posted in. A buddy of mine posted their all the time in high school. So i was curious and the rest is history However, I had a different account, I forgot my password one day and made this one. Does that make me a veteran? :P
Honestly, it was too long ago to remember. I remember, years ago, when GS had those awesome, colorful tabs. That is when the site really appealed to me most, visually speaking. I rather enjoyed coming on the site, updating my "Now Playing" list or my "Wish List." I also enjoyed and trusted GS's great, and slightly more strict review system, along with all of the old reviewers.
I posted in the GGD for the most part, and how I came about OT...I probably just was curious at what Off-Topic was about, so I decided to check it out, and since then...I've been hooked. =/
