Religious arguments are quite honestly among the dumbest and pointless arguments there is. Neither has proof the other is wrong so it's just a endless debate based on personal belief and/or opinions.Treflis
Bingo! and neither will believe the other

I don't believe you!
Popular arguments for atheism are hilariously inept, but I'm not sure what the OP is getting at with the first criticism. It may be a veiled appeal to transcendentals, and while that would be brilliant, I think I'm reading too much into it. I don't think that anyone is actually going to change their minds based on argumentation though.
One could say there is no evidence for the contrary either. Atheism is not an absence of belief, but a belief of absence. There's not scientific evidence for either side. There's only opinion and beliefs.[QUOTE="ShadowsDemon"][QUOTE="pariah3"]
Contrary to what you may believe, Atheist arguments work pretty well and are also backed up with plenty of evidence. Theists, on the other hand, have absolutely 0 evidence at their disposal to support their asinine claims that God (or Gods) exist.
There is no shred of proof that any God/s exists except in the imagination of those who have some kind of psychotic disorder.

One side doen't need evidence.
No one can say there is or isn't a god to a certainty of 100%, however as there is zero evidence in support of the existance of gods I chose to think that there probably isnt a god.
? One could say the contrary as well..personally I concluded that God exists myself. It wasn't influenced by religion or science.[QUOTE="mahlasor"]I would say the christian "religion" is not that simple at all, it at least has a historical basis.. worlock77
No, it really doesn't.
Yes, it really does. Now stop being ignorant and do some research. King Solomon is but one example.Meh, even though I'm an atheist, if I were to believe in a God, it would instead be Gods/Goddesses, can't go wrong with the Roman Ones, like Zeus and Ares.Toph_Girl250It sounds way cooler, I have to admit. But nothing can beat the Forerunners. ;)
Forerunners? Never heard of them.Toph_Girl250You're welcome The thing is I truly do wish that our history/past/creation, was like that. I truly do. I resonate with people like you on that one.

Yes, it really does. Now stop being ignorant and do some research. King Solomon is but one example.Let me rephrase it - Christianity has no more historical basis than any other religion. If King Solomon is evidence for the veracity of Christian mythology then King Minos is evidence for the veracity of Greek mythology.
BTW: King Solomon was in the Old Testament, ie: Judaism, not the New Testament, ie: Christianity. I only mention this because anytime someone mentions something in the Old Testament to argue against Christianity the usual response is "that don't count".
