I think if somebody wants to hate another person simply because they have a different colour of skin then they are well within their rights to do, regardless of if I personally find it wrong or not (as long as they aren't projecting this hatred outwardly and using forms of harassment) I also think that the differences between the races should be acknowledged, though everybody should be granted the same rights and oppertunity's to succeed.

There's nothing so different about the 21st century, compared to the 20th century, that racism still being well-represented in the 21st century should come as a surprise to anyone, or accompanied by any level of new-found puzzlement.

Our schools still suck, our governments still suck, our medias still suck. How do you expect people not to continue sucking, considering the inescapability of all three factors, given the premise that one is a member of society?

The way i see it is that there is far less racism and discrimination then there use to be and that is caused by the older generation dying out and with each new one being born there seems to be a lot more open mindness. I really do think that in time the ignorant will just die out and racism will be nothing but a thing of the past. This is my theory anyways sad though that i will never be able to see it come ture so one can only hope

If this makes me a dick then so be it, and if I'm called a racist for simply stating the unpopular truth then that's equally ok with me. I believe people of all races should be granted the same rights and opportunities to succeed, that doesn't mean ignoring the fact that there are differences between the races. (Think in terms of life expectancy, prone more to certain medical conditions, bone structure, genetics)
