Why sexy looks are better than personality.

Beauty without personality is someone I will never date, befriend, or respect. Generally, personality comes first for me when reading people, not their natural appearance.

A beautiful or 'sexy' appearance with no personality is an unattractive, vapid husk to me.

Besides, looks fade; so why the focus on beauty as being so significant? I mean, it can be something to savor and enjoy as it lasts, particularly if beauty's host has a mind, but it is very temporary; most of our lives exist past the age of fifty. Not saying beauty has some trite age limit, only that this grail we cherish in short-term physical beauty is entirely hollow. Sexy dies out, personality sustains, just saying.

Now, I know many here at GAMESPOT will complain and say she isnt "all that" but lets face it, a lot of men want her really, really bad. Shes beautiful, yes, but why hasnt she been able to maintain a relationship with men? Simple because people who know here well and if you had met her in person, you can tell shes a bit off in the head. Shes "crazy." The bottomline is that looks fade. It doesnt necessarily mean by age but usually, things get old in a relationship and what is left is the personality. Once you arent amazed by her looks, then what? Once the sex dry up, then what? Personality overall is more important than looks.

you have a point but its lost in the stupidity of your post.Looks are very important,everywhere,job,relationships. even friends.They can open doors that personality and degrees or other qualifications dont.The thing is there is not mucj to do about them unless you have the money to spend on plastic surgeries.Otherwise you have to work on the rest of you hoping that it overscales the fact that you might be ugly.,

My only question when reading the OP was, "When and who ever picked personality over looks?". I mean, yeah, they are some odd couples out there, but more often than not there's an ulterior motive, like the person had a lot of money, or they offered something else, like a stable life for any existing children.
