Have you ever heard about The Golden Visa No it is not a credit card It is just an administrative permission that the Portuguese government give to citizens outside the E.U space that allow them to have the same rights in the European space (Shegen Space) of the national citizens. In order to get the visa you must do one of 3 things :invest 1 million euros in Portugal;create a business that give more than 10 jobs to the Portuguese economy or get an House or other real-state item for 500000 euros or more .So ,guess what ,this last criteria is the most used (by far) to get the magic visa. And (just wonder) Chinese citizens are by far those who get it using this criteria. We already sold the EDP the major company of distribution and the only company that produces electricity to The 3 Gorges company (a Chinese -State controlled company). The Chinese are bought everything that worth something in Portugal.Don't get me wrong i am not against capitalism or have any case against China but i feel that my country is being sold for the best price and that hurt me a lot

The war is now nor cold or hot is economical.Evidence do you want evidence ? compare the economical growth of China whit your country see how many jobs were ´´Outsourced`` in the past ,lets say 10 years,go to the back of the computer you are using this very moment or any electronic gadget that is near you and see where they are made and maybe you will give me a bit of reason

Yeah, China is a manufacturing giant now because of the labor conditions at the moment. Once the middle class expands there will be growing pains because of the limited political input they have. Then once China's economy matures it will evolve into a more sophisticated service industry driven economy, just like in the United States and most of the West. Then rinse and repeat with another budding economic power which will manufacture what the West sends them. You just need to chillax and read some history books.

China still has state intervention levels in its economy that makes Roosevelt's New Deal look like the peak of fiscal liberalism. It has had an undulatory economic system of shifting from heavy intervention to light intervention (where they're now) since 1960's 'Great Leap Forward' - to assume it'll follow the same developmental path as western Europe and the U.S. envolves way too much guesswork. China's always had a very strict policy of self-providing - being able to sustain itself agriculturally, technologically and with both light and heavy industry - only enhanced when the Soviets withdrew their technicians and scientists from Communist China in the 60's, and that ideology is completely unalignable with the notion of scrapping their first and secondary sectors in favor of an internal service-based economy.

The point is that China is doing what Soviets could not do dominate the Western

Um, China is not domnating nor conquering the West.

Not sure what the mention of the Soviets are supposed to add. Are you trying to say the China is a bigger threat to the West than the Soviet Union was becuase of current economic success? If so, that doesn't make much sense, because during that period, Russia had a competing economic ideology of a planned economy.  Until 1978, China had a similar economic policy in place.  But when Deng Xiaping took over, he began to transition China into a market economy and integrate it into the global liberal economic trade regime.

China's success has come from, more or less, buying into the global economic ideaology the the West has had in place since the end of WW2. By playing by the rules the West has set up, I don't see how they are conquering the WEst.  Grant it, currency manipulation does faciliate an advantage to an export oriented economy, but is not sustainable due to the effect on the domestic citizens. WIth a growing middle class, there will be more demand for policies that will allow the Yuan's value to float.

Also there are the previous examples of Japan, S. Korea, and Taiwan that had huge growth via manufacturing and high manual labor jobs, but have since shifted into tertiary industries and domestic populations demanded higher pay.

There are already a number of countries with practically slave labour, but it's not that simple, the infrastructure also needs to be there to support the enormous amount of goods that are imported/exported.

Would it be cheaper than China? Because there is no reason to move manufacturing jobs out China since the infrastructure is already built over there.

Right but since China has 1/5 of the world population, wiliing to sell their working force very cheap your scenario does not seems to be very easy to be accomplish ( except ,maybe if we look into India)

My mention to Sovietic Union is to make the point that the new global war is not won by guns but by those that will get economical superiority,as for other Asian examples you gave they are like kittens compare whit a tiger

You keep saying "war", this isn't mercantilism where it's a zero sum game.  Also, you must not be familiar with the Four Asian Tigers.

How is China's economic success a threat to the Western liberalized economic regime? They are clearly benefitting from the status quo, so they have no incentive to change it.

There's not really a war so to speak, that's why China has progressed so much. They're good at building bridges (metaphorically). The challenge now is, how many more bridges can they build?

Millions. And how many years? Tens. It will make the 30's Great Depression look like a 6th month recession. In economic currency collapse only few nations are going to have the production to stay relatively healthy. China being one.

Right, because all jobs paying higher than the current minimum wage will revert to 12 cents a day.

Meanwhile in America: people expect entitlement pay raises.

Yes, we should all work 18 hours a day for 12 cents, lazy americans!

Minimum wage should change based on the cost of living in each respective country. If it costs $2 a day to survive in a country, making minimum wage $8/hr doesn't make sense. Ignorant Americans think "What?! They only make $0.50USD/hr? I can barely survive on $8/hr, what horrible company is paying them those wages?!" Oh wait, turns out thats more than enough for them to survive.
