Why the hate on Bieber?

Does he bother people that much? I used to hate him but his songs aren't bad. I don't think its that manly to pick on a 16 year old. Ya, it does get annoying when I see him everywhere, or when all these teenage girls are screaming for him, but every generation has its teenage heartthrob such as Donny Osmond, Michael Jackson and now Bieber. I am a straight male btw. Plus he is from the same area as I am. If your bothered by him singing about love at his age, what else do any pop stars sing about? He has tons of girls screaming for him and he has lots of money, thats a pretty awesome life. I don't listen to his music regularly other than when I hear it somewhere but I don't understand the hate. He is much better than the Jonas Brothers. I hate most of what teenagers like today but I dont see a problem with a teenager pop singer.

Edit: Ya, I guess it is annoying that he isnt very mature looking and in all his videos he has older girls going for him and he trys to be gangster, but he needs an image.

Because he got famous through some random producer seeing him on Youtube, and now everyone acts like he's the second coming of christ. By everyone I mean tweens.

He has a lamborghini and he got on the frontpage on yahoo for it. he also sounds like a 8 year old girl

because its OT his music= evil its ok i can listen it but its not great chances are he'll fade away his fans will grow up and cringe at how much they like him and move on people will find and new person to make fun of he'll retire rich we have someone to make fun of and 14 year old girls are happy and the record company makes a mint i doubt his fans would buy heavy metal anyway chances are their tastes will change i started with s club 7 and am now in to classic rock and who cares 14 year old girls like him everyone else thinks hes looks like a 10 year old singing like a 12 year old girl plus hes rich haters gonna hate

Another thing I dont like is that, from when I was four I never wanted to cut my hair and it was always brown and shaggy, then Bieber comes out then they all call my hair Justin Biebers hair. I've never listened to his music. I have seen him in some interviwes, however. He seems pretty conceited and self-centered. Those aren't good traits to have.

It's just the hate fad of the month. Soon enough the internet will forget about Bieber and start hating other random things again.

If he plays in Best Korea, all will be forgiven.

I can't stomach more than a minute or so of any given Beiber song, but people just hate on him because (generalizations ahead):

a) it's trendy to hate on him

b) they want to rebel against anything that's in "vogue"

c) they are jealous that he is making so much money and is getting so much attention

d) they feel that the artists they like should be as popular as him, despite the fact that the artists don't make mainstream music.

Short answer: He sucks.

Since when does sucking warrant hate? Yeah, his music sucks a fat one, but lots of artists suck. Do they all deserve hate?

No creativity? Yeah, definitely. No talent? He can sing. Not spectacularly and he sounds like a chick, but he can still sing.

No, not all of them deserve hate. Just the ones that get rich and famous by making garbage music. And just to clarify, I'm not saying I wish the bands I listen to where as popular as these mainstream bands/artists; I like them just fine the way they are. It just angers me to see these so-called musicians succeed by being decidedly mediocre, regardless if others are as successful or not.

And as far as using one's looks to make money: it's perfectly acceptable and I have no problem with that. The problem is this kid calls himself a musician, which couldn't be more false. He's just a teenage model with background pop music (which he didn't even make)...

I just don't see why the person that gets people to buy the crappy music deserves the anger. I mean, don't get me wrong. I don't really care what people listen to, but it seems to me that the people buying it, allowing mediocrity to make so much money, deserve more of the anger.

But all in all, I just don't see why any of this warrants anger. I'll listen to what I listen to (hip hop, "good" mainstream pop music and classic rock) and the teenybop world can go on existing as it as always has.
