No, not all of them deserve hate. Just the ones that get rich and famous by making garbage music. And just to clarify, I'm not saying I wish the bands I listen to where as popular as these mainstream bands/artists; I like them just fine the way they are. It just angers me to see these so-called musicians succeed by being decidedly mediocre, regardless if others are as successful or not.

And as far as using one's looks to make money: it's perfectly acceptable and I have no problem with that. The problem is this kid calls himself a musician, which couldn't be more false. He's just a teenage model with background pop music (which he didn't even make)...

I just don't see why the person that gets people to buy the crappy music deserves the anger. I mean, don't get me wrong. I don't really care what people listen to, but it seems to me that the people buying it, allowing mediocrity to make so much money, deserve more of the anger.

But all in all, I just don't see why any of this warrants anger. I'll listen to what I listen to (hip hop, "good" mainstream pop music and classic rock) and the teenybop world can go on existing as it as always has.

Yeah, you're definitely right about that first paragraph; it's not so much the artist's fault as it is the fanbase's. People will just eat up anything that's "hip" and "cool", and the music industry knows this, which is why they keep manufacturing all these generic pop "stars" that get forgotten as soon as the new model comes out to make a quick buck.

As for the second paragraph: I don't know, it just angers me. I'm not saying people should change their tastes and stop listening to whatever they like just because I disagree, and I know that kind of music isn't going to go away. I have my "good" music, everyone else's tastes don't matter, but it just angers me. :P

I have never talked to that guy in my life. Why should I hate him? Sure... he makes music. Since his music is aimed at preteen girls... I don't see nothing wrong with his music. And what is with all this jazz about he can't sing? Come on... unless someone is ghosting him... he can sing. Everybody has the ability to sing. Now, if he can sing really well is another topic.

EDIT: Except people who are unable to speak. Those are the people who can't sing. Sorry, forgot to say that.

Does she bother people that much? I used to hate her but her songs aren't bad. I don't think its that manly to pick on a 16 year old. Ya, it does get annoying when I see her everywhere, or when all these teenage girls are screaming for her, but every generation has its teenage heartthrob such as Donny Osmond, Michael Jackson and now Bieber. I am a straight male btw. Plus she is from the same area as I am. If you're bothered by her singing about love at her age, what else do any pop stars sing about? She has tons of girls screaming for her and she has lots of money, that's a pretty awesome life. I don't listen to her music regularly other than when I hear it somewhere but I don't understand the hate. She is much better than the Jonas Brothers. I hate most of what teenagers like today but I don't see a problem with a teenager pop singer.

Edit: Ya, I guess it is annoying that she isn't very mature looking and in all her videos he has older girls going for her and he tries to be gangster, but she needs an image.

I don't like his music nor do I like his style but he is kinda gifted , when he sings someone else's song you can see he's got talent.He doesn't bother me at all.NOW I don't know if in the U.S the same happens but here in Brazil every teen have his hair , it's ridiculous , our teenages are lost I could accept anarchism actually I support it but c'mon it's looking like the twenties , fifties , when everybody had the same hair.The worst part is that the girls totally dig their styles.They'll grow into womans someday , or at least I hope , and realize how dumb they were.

i dont like that kind of music anyway, but he seems to just appeal to the masses of screaming teenage girls and what they like trickle all over popular culture and everyone has to live with it, plus it is trendy to hate him for every little reason.

4. The meanings behind his songs are laughable (singing about true love and he's a teen...)

5. His personality is annoying and obnoxious.

6. His fangirls are more annoying and obnoxious than all of the above put together.
