The USA CANNOT be trusted, especially since Russia is a former enemy of America.
Obama should be in custody, this is Prima Facie evidence that Obama is a traitor.

The president of the US is a traitor to the UK?
I seem to recall a declaration thingy that mentioned something about independence, but I might be thinking of something else.

Just further proof that Britain is going to try and reclaim the States!!!!!! Everybody quick, arm yourselves, the red coats are comig back.Gasp? I'm surprised Russia even wants them. I figured MAD was a given.Sajo7
for Russia, Britain having nukes is like Cuba having Russian nukes. If the United states was attacked or attacks russia, Britain would have to follow orders and attack as well. Other European nations are not as closely linked to the American military establishment as Britain is

Haha, win. Also, people shouldn't refer to the entire government as "Obama" Not that big of a deal, it's just the nukes the US sold them, not "all" of their nukes, the reason is US's nuclear treaty with Russia, if they're not going to be giving them info on the nukes they made it wouldn't really work. Also he's not "selling" the secrets.I'm not sure if you are serious. Also, if you want to say former enemies, then Britain was a former enemy as well. Just back quite some time. The USA CANNOT be trusted, especially since Russia is a former enemy of America.

While it probably isn't a security threat....it's NOT Obama's place to give out the UK's information. Bad form indeed....LJS9502_basic
Agreed. Nothing feels like betrayel when you tell a friend something in confidence and they betray that confidence.
Why would UK trust the USA with information like this again?

It... would be kind of hard for the US not to have information about things that it is supplying to the UK...

Way to not read. The codes are for nuke the U.S. sold Britain. Meaning that the nukes were made by the U.S. and they know everything about them without having to get any info from Britain.[QUOTE="flazzle"]

hahahaha. Grow up. I doubt you would be thinking that same way if it US serials being leaked.
If someone could actually illustrate the way in which this affects... anything... then, perhaps.

I agree, this has no impact on Britain, or its nuclear "secrets". But it will surely have an effect on the way that the UK perceives Obama and the current US Government. As i said before, this screams "Stabbed in the back" to me.
Plus, my post was solely to do with what l4dak47 said. About it being "too damn bad".

No, it doesn't. Russia really can't do anything with these serial numbers. They can guess how many nukes the U.S. have given them, but that is about it.[QUOTE="skiesfall"][QUOTE="SF_KiLLaMaN"] Way to not read. The codes are for nuke the U.S. sold Britain. The point i'm making is that, as far as i am aware, the US gave out this information WITHOUT consulting the UK. If the shoe was on the other foot, im sure the story would be different.

The US isn't free to discuss its dealings with other countries? I did not know this. Edit: Uh oh, the British government has disclosed on their website information about hurricane Katrina. I can't believe that the British government would disclose this information without the permission of the USA :x[QUOTE="skiesfall"][QUOTE="SF_KiLLaMaN"] No, it doesn't. The US isn't free to discuss its dealings with other countries? I did not know this. What? I never said they weren't. I'm saying that if it was the other way round, and the UK gave out serials for US missiles, there would be a huge fuss. In the exact same way the US reacted to Wikileaks releasing the cables. I think people in the UK being pissed off about this is totally justifiable.
Edit: Oh okay, so the link you posted about Katrina is relevant? There is a difference between covering a crisis and basically undermining an alliance.

LOL at the Katrina reference, that's the standard message given out during major disasters for emergency contact/public information .Y'know, I can't help but think that if the UK were dealing with the same thing (if they are, excuse me; I only hear about American documents being leaked), their reaction would be pretty much the same as America's.I know plenty about British law. Clearly if they support wikileaks while America condemns, it really says a lot about America and its "free speech".

I don't get all of this defending stuff. Assange is on bail pending a potential extradition. Ridiculous to charge him though, funny how we don't hear a lot about the guy who supposedly supplied the information - but there's uproar about the guy who simply published it. I've seen news articles claiming people in the US want him executed....how/why would that be justified? :OI know plenty about British law. People do know that "Obama" is not the U.S. government right. Anyway it seems like wikileaks is doing what they wanted. Spreading irrational fear and mistrust in the world. Seriously someone should shut the site down...it is doing nothing positive for the world at all...MgamerBDWikileaks dosn't put bias in their articles, bias appears because media outlets twist their leaks. Kinda like a Reuters wire can be on Fox and CNN and be presented completely differently.

Nor are the poloticians that run the world either!
Where did you hear that last part?I really don't understand: why does it undermine the UK's security for someone just to know how many nukes they have, when they have publicly said how many nukes they have?

US/UK relations.....[QUOTE="Dark_Knight6"]
They support free speech more than America does, so f*** them and their allegiance.
Yeah.. the problem isn't that WikiLeaks published what Obama did, it's what Obama did.
Still don't care. The moment Britain supported wikileaks, they lost some of my respect. Besides, why does it matter? It's serial codes. Why dislike wikileaks? I think you should spend more time on it and see what they 'really' show.[QUOTE="Danm_999"]I think Wikileaks is showing us that the public at large is not ready to see how the sausage is made vis a vis international diplomacy.l4dak47Because the public are generally idiots.
