I doubt it. I sure don't understand it. I even bought a book recently based on time alone. Why does time change with mass or speed? Whenever I ask people why gravity effects time they always come out with an image of the Earth sitting on a plane in an indentation that is wider than the Earth then I always say "That isn't why it is effected that is how it is effected" The book I bought was called 'in search of time' and it goes through time as seen by cultures throughout history to possibilieties of time travel to multi-universe theories based on time travel etc....
A better question would be: Does time really exist? Shad0ki11My thought is yes and no. I think we invented time as a way for people to syncronize things but in astronomy/astrology (don't know the difference between the two) things don't need to syncronize because the universe had no agenda. It just happens.

And I believe my masters more than Google.
Time it self is a idea not a thing thats why you cannot time travel because it was a idea made to keep track of things and make life more organized so time itself does exist but not as a thing but just as an idea.Poster_11Well put.

There is time travel in a sense. The closer you get to a massive object the slower time will go. The universe outside of that massive object will seem to go faster and faster the closer you get. Giving of course you are able to get away from that massive object and back out into space where there is no gravity more time will have passed for the universe you are in than yourself.

The effects of black holes have been observed, which is evidence that supports the existence of black holes.

Stars and objects circling around a very dense non visible object. Light be refracted by seemingly nothingness (Although this can also be attributed to dark matter). I think they've measured certain types of radiation coming from the super massive black hole at the center of our galaxy as well.

I'm not saying they dont exsist and like you said they have evidence to support it but it's still a theory none the less. Not going to get into all those crazy theories out there on the subject (that's your job!) but i can't even begin to comprhend Time. If time truly is infinite and had no beginning or will have no end where does that leave us? How can you put an age on something?? my head hurts..discussVideoGameGuy
Time is an illusion... time technically doesn't exist
