Will the world really edn in 2012?

You know that movie 2012 comign out November. It got me thinking, are we all going to die then? Ive read many articles and videos and scientists say every 7000 years, the North and South Poles separate or something, causing chaos. The Earth has had a few Armagedons, but why would there have to be another in 2012. Ill only be 16, im too young. lol, anyway, I also learned in my social studies class that the Aztec Indians predicted the end of the world in year 2012. also, there is an asteroid orbiting Earth, and its course changes each rotation. It will eventually smack into Earth, scientists say in....you guessed it....2012. So, whats your opinion?

ProTip: The North Pole and South Pole are already about as separate as is possible on the surface of the Earth.

IT could also end around 2043, they say that after that 2036 asteroid comes down another asteroid will come down and it's 4x bigger and well you know we all die.

There's absolutely no empirical indication that it will. Most of the stuff you are hearing is either psuedoscience or greatly misrepresented science of the New Age movement. As for the Mayan calendar, or the Mesoamerican Long Count Calendar, there is some debate about what it means, but generally, it does not imply the end of the world by those who actually devote their lives to studying this kind of stuff.

the world could end tomorrow no one knows when itll happen. besides if the world was going to end i dont want to be warned because ill freak out id so rather die unexpectantly
