They won't. The US and Chinese economies aren't in conflict, and actually go hand in hand. Without China, America wouldn't get half its products. Without America, half of China would be unemployed (joking, relax). Although I don't think there is anything that is so important that the US and China disagree on so much that it's worth going to war over.
There is just no reason for us to. At all. China is good for our economy. China has too large a military. China is too disinterested in us. There's just no reason for hostilities to break out.
I am a Chinese. I am a bit afraid that USA will attack China one day. Actually I think the communist government in China is not that "communist" nowsdays. "Communist" is just a name for the government and it is just a bit difficult to remove that name. And most of Chinese people love their country very much although the government is not so good. The United States does not have the internal resources to attack such a large and populous country. They do not have the man power like they did 30-60 years ago. Their economy is failing, slowly and surely. So they will not have an economic base to support war for much longer.
Not to mention the fact that China is one of the permanent members of the UN, making it practically impossible for the US to do something and be able get away with it. Plus, the US is only going to attack weak countries in which they can profit from, they are not in this for the politics of it.

Insurgents in Iraq are fighting unconventionally because they cant beat us conventionally. you cant compare Insurgency with a standing army, because i can tell you right now one way or another China would be destroyed rather quickly.

im Chinese to, you are right that today China isnt much of a communist country now, just today they passed a new law about allowing private property. Peace between America and China will last very long, but of war start im going to China and joining the army

The only way the US would even think about attacking China, is if China invaded Taiwan. And even then it's iffy because we don't care enough about Taiwan to get into a war with China.
If China will never attack the US why are they developing weapons that would only have use against the US? The satellite they shot down was a clear sign to the US. WHY WOULD AMERICA GET INVOLVED?!?!?! IF CHINA ATTACKS THAN LET IT BE, if America joined in everything will go terriably wrong. Example: Vietnam, America didnt have much influence in that war until the french told them to help out.....then the french pulls out leaving the Americans to fight them which lasted like 14 years
