Nope.. i remember when i was young they said we'd have flying cars by the year 2000. lol we're no where near that stage.. humans are to busy killing each other than to work out a way to make sure human beings can exist forever.

I believe almost everyone will get to be in space one day or another but it will probably take another 50 years from now when it will be much cheaper. Currently only millionaires can afford a flight to space.

Currently the The Lynx rocket plane is being developed by the California-based company XCOR to compete in the future suborbital space flight market. The Lynx is projected to carry one pilot and a ticketed passenger above 60km altitude. The ticket will cost 95,000 $. According to XCOR, the Lynx will operate several times a day, and will also have the capacity to deliver payloads into space. The Lynx is currently scheduled to have its first flight in 2010.

Currently only millionaires can afford such a flight but in the future more people will be able to including those with average salaries as the prices decrease.
