Yes I will be, if only because itwill mean he didn't win. Right now I'm genuinely concerned about whether or not he'll lose.

It's less people think Trump should be president and more they hate Hillary and GOP establishment. Trump is their form of protest. While I don't agree with it, I understand the sentiment. It's not unlike a kid who destroyed his favorite toy in a fit of anger. At least that's how Trump won the primary. As Trump became more self destructive over the course of the general election, his supporters only rallied around him more because it became too late once primary was over, plus retracting their support would be admitting they made a mistake and for most people that's harder to do than keep doing what they know is wrong.

As an aside, you gotta love the Mormons for sticking to their conscience and not throw their lot in with Trump like the white evangelicals.

I don't care if Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennesee, and Arkansas secede from the union....that's not all of Trump's states but that would get rid of alot of his supporters, and the U.S would be fine without them. Confederates can have that chunk.

Sigh of relief, although his chances are slim to none now. I'm more worried about post election and what these delusional Trump fanatics are going to do. We don't need another 4 years of 'rigged' bullshit being broadcast 24/7. Its going to be birtherism 2.0. They can't accept legitimate elections and a loss so they'll probably resort to something like that.

Trump entered the room and dropped logs. Him evacuating the room will not stop it stinking. And it's not like Trump will evaporate and blow out to sea, he'll basically continue being a cult leader.

So happy is perhaps too strong of a word. I'll be some degree of relieved that US voters ultimately opted to avert total disaster.

He loses, we're going to hear nothing but nigh incoherent ramblings and constant whining from a lunatic manchild loser and his slobbering, delusional, raving supporters desperately attempting to pull into question and undermine the integrity of our democratic process and assign blame to everywhere except where it's due (unless of course he wins, then our democracy will suddenly transform from rigged and corrupt to be viewed as once again valid).

He's elected, and within the first week of Biff Tannen's new administration, we're going to watch as the checks and balances in our government slam down like handcuffs on Trump's attempts to implement his authoritative, egocentristic, vindictive dictations as he stumbles into the realization that he can't, in fact, do whatever incredibly absurd and disgusting new idea that pops into his head to get brainfarted onto Twitter each morning to "make America great again" without considering the ramifications and consequences instead of spewing his typical laughably simplistic asininity that his idiots lap up. Part of me honestly wants to see Trump elected so the whole world can witness how he'll try to build the wall and deport millions out once, y'know, the logistical, economical, and ethical REALITIES set in. But we already know what would happen....he'll fail , and everybody else will be at fault.

Both outcomes will afford great humor value, it's just the second outcome will be much, much sadder.

@skipper847: Trump can't imprison Hillary. He can only recommend an investigation, which has already been undertaken and found evidence of carelessness, but nothing illegal. He's also threatened the NYT, SNL, and has stated he's looking to change libel law to stem criticism towards him. God only knows the extent he'll attempt to go if he gets power.

These are things a dictator would do, literally. It is a direct, explicit threat to one of the core foundations of our democracy. Imagine not being able to speak ill of Trump on these boards. People who support Trump aren't Americans...through their advocation of him they are traitors to the very principles this country prides (and has built) itself on.

It's funny that some right wing haters of Obama will refer to him as "our dear leader" attempting to compare him to a North Korean dictator but will then turn around and vote for Trump who actually wants to put laws in place to criminalize saying anything negative about him.
