"I feel it is incumbent upon me to protect ... the people who can't protect themselves." Carr, who has three other children, apologized before she was sentenced Monday in federal court in Bangor. "I never meant to hurt anyone in my family," she said. "I regret it." The video chats were made in June 2009 and sent to a man in England who recorded them, the newspaper said. The man, Nicholas Wilde, was being investigated in another child pornography case when police found the recordings and traced them to Carr, of Mars Hill, Maine. I know but I was referring to the fact that she is 2 years old. I wouldn't have been shocked if the daughter was say +4 or even +3. She would have resembled something sexual at that age, even in the slightest.

I actually heard this on the news this morning before work and felt the need to punch the teen and the mother in the face for doing something so sick. As much as i try to have some shred of faith in humanity, it's situations like this that make my heart sink.

Though you are entitled to your opinion (and even if youre joking), i believe that a women using the excuse that a man tricked her into doing this is just taking advantage of the horribe prejudice out there against men. the prejudice being that most men are sick minded and that women are not... Well thankfully she is getting 20 years minimum for this ****. Her older kids though...god, i can't imagine how they will react in the long run to having a ****ed up mom and having her name all in the news like this.

It's YOUR child that you brought into this world. It's a special connection so I don't understand how parents could ever do something like that to their own child. I can understand stealing and even killing OTHER people way more than that. Even though those things are bad, too.
