Her early thoughts on the terrifying experience?

"I love the Indian casino. They have such wonderful buffets."

Same here.

In other news I bet she was dying to get out of that tub. Her family was probably frozen with fear when they heard what had happened. Probably a good thing she swam in ideas of being rescued.

Oh wow, I just imagine if this was my grandmother. She once fell and broke her hip, but luckily was on her way out the door when it happened and neighbors came to help.

Why did she not remove the stopper from the tub?

That way she could have at least slept wihtout the worry of drowning.

That whole sentence and you only recognized that one pun? Wow. @mayforcebeyou: She did. That was the point of the story. She drank the bath water to stay alive using a rubber ducky as a cup.

Yeh and freeze to death in the mean time o_O

Couldn't she potentially have all types of complications from seating in a tub filled with cold standing water for three days?

She probably was using warm water. How the hell can you get stuck in a bath tub anyways, weak strength or not?

If she can survive for 3 days only on water in the same spot after coming home from a Casino then i would assume she should have been able to manage getting over a 3 foot side barrier on the bathtub.

Then you would assume wrong. Do you honestly think she just sat down and was like, "Oh, well, I don't feel like getting up so I think I'll sit here for three days, bored stiff, until someone finds me. I'm not hungry or anything, either." Old people get weak and fall and can't get up. It happens. It happened to my grandfather. He can do all kinds of stuff but one day he was so dehydrated that he couldn't remember where he was and couldn't stand up or anything. He would have died laying in the yard, unable to even crawl if we hadn't found him. He can drive, walk, do all kinds of stuff normally. But when they get ill they can't do anything.

True. It's just easier for older people to get to that stage.
