Ok so i used to work out quite abit, then school came and i didnt really have the time. Now it is summer again, and im old enough to drive now so im getting a membership to a gym. I havent worked out in prolly around 5 months. Ive still managed to maitain around 5 percent body fat so that is not a problem. So how long do you think it will take before i get back into peak shape again? Thanks to any who help.
5% body fat? With 5 months off from working out? Either you're a liar or anerexic.
But typically it takes about 20 weeks for an athlete to get into peak shape again. Also, if you're going to be doing high-impact cardio like running again, consume more fats, because if your body fat drops below 4%, you start losing the fat in your joints and you'll pound them into dust.
