I ate ika no shiokara in Japan. That's raw squid guts that are left to ferment in a jar until they achieve the same smell as spunk filled wool sock on a baseboard heater.

In Thailand, I had a grasshopper stir fry. I didn't know I was supposed to pull the legs and wings off. Took ages to pick them out from between my teeth.

In Cambodia, I had a braized tarantula. The texture was like a hairy ball of pus. The texture was far better than the taste.

Not the worst, but I tried brie and I wondered how anyone could possibly enjoy the flavor of it.

I had a 'Seafood Roll' at a restaurant in Montreal and it tasted like the underside of a fishing wharf. Three bites was all I could manage before becoming ill. It was nasty.
