I tried to watch Epic Movie on Youtube (someone put the whole thing up). I seriously could not get through the first scene.

And Forrest Gump? You know, I could make a strong case that the movie is in fact a very good movie, what with a warming sense of humanity and clever references to historical events, but I don't need to.

All I need to say is that Forrest Gump cannot possibly be the worst movie you've ever watched unless you've never seen a bad movie before - like some that have been mentioned, like Manos: The Hands of Fate, Meet the Spartans, any Ed Wood film, etc.

If Pan's Labyrinth is one of the worst movies ever seen, you need to watch more movies.

And to the guy that said the ending to The Mist was horrible: I think it was an amazing movie. The ending was extremely powerful. And besides, it's based off of a Stephen King novel - do you really expect a happy ending?

HybridPhoenix

well if you think those were good movies, then you should watch more movies, not me. (imo ofcrourse)

Pan's Labyrinth is critically acclaimed and widely praised. I'm gonna say open water and wolf creek

open water and wolf creek are both excellent films as well.

[QUOTE="solo-chaos"]the zodiac i don't know if it was made in 2008 but it sucked over 3 hours of boring as hell investigation of a murderer who was never even found in the movieRobbieH1234

The killer was never found in real life. :|

And Zodiac is one of the best films of the decade. Same goes for Pan's Labyrinth.

isnt zodiac one of the lowest rated films on imdb. its like a 3 or something

Edit: o sorry that was zodiac from 2001 that got a 3. on the contrary zodiac from 2007 is one of the highest rated films of all time

How dare you. The Love Guru was the most disappointing movie I've ever seen, but I'm not sure if it's the worst... I'll have to think about it.

I take my answer back. I'm stuck between Forust Gump, Cloverfield, or Scary Movie 2.

-FORUST GUMP: Self explanatory

-CLOVERFIELD: The shaky camera, dumb story, and 2 hour party scene in the beggining ruined it.

-SCARY MOVIE 2: Just plain stupid. Only like 2 funny parts in the whole movie.

brickdoctor
forrest gump is one of the best movies ever. And cloverfield i loved that movie too and the 2 hour party scene what are you talking about? its like 15 mins maybe.

[QUOTE="LanceSSJ"]Ste[hen King's "The Mist" . ive seen worse but the ending was so absolutely terrible and disgusting. The male protaganist just saw his wife dead from monsters and then him and his son a woman, two old people try to escape the monsters in a car but they run out of gas. The male has a gun with 4 bullets. He kills the woman and two old people and then he kills his son. then 10 SECONDS later the mist clears and the US army comes through killing the monsters. itys so depressing and horribly wrong

and that was the ending was so powerful it was great even though what had happened was horrible.

Oh god. I won't say it's the worst I've seen but it's among the worst remakes ever. The original ".rec" was so, so much better it wasn't funny. Worst movie I've seen is Bi-Centennial Man...or maybe Teknolust.

I read a forum about 2008's best movies. Well I want to know about the worst movies out there. It doesn't need to be 2008, just the worst movie that you had ever seen.

- Forest Gump

SilentSoprano

Are you stupid? Anyways, for me it has to be Michael Clayton. I seriously actually fell asleep during that movie, it was so incredibly boring, and believe me, I never fall asleep during movies. Or maybe Blair WItch Project 2. I don't need to explain that one.

Michael Clayton was depressingly bad. George Clooney's acting only saved that movie. I swear, that scene with the horses on top of the hill....ugh. Why the hell did he even drive out there to see the horses? What was the point? Seriously.

Everyone's a Critic (EaC) utilizes a collaborative filteringalgorithm to obtain film recommendations from people who share similar tastes in film. According to the EaC poll, as of December 19, 2008, the top ten worst rated movies are[60]:

  1. Battlefield Earth (2000)
  2. House of the Dead (2003)
  3. Spice World (1997)
  4. Alone in the Dark (2005)
  5. Catwoman (2004)
  6. From Justin to Kelly (2003)
  7. Baby Geniuses (1999)
  8. Son of the Mask (2005)
  9. Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966)
  10. Speed 2: Cruise Control (1997)
BobSacamento
Oh man, SPeed 2 was atrocious. Son of the mask was even worse. Ugh. That list makes me ill.

The Neverending Story. It tried so hard to be this great epic, amazing adventure it was just so funny to watch it crash and burn and then have the worlds nuclear arsenal detonated on top of it.

Second worst movie of all time is Search for Eagle One. "Hey guys you know how there is 10 of us holding Light Machine Guns with 100+ bullet mags and in front of us there are five terroists? let's have a competition to see who can get the most bullets into the guy in the middle before he hits the ground!" Ok they never said that but that's exactly what they did also another good part was the torture scene. "Ok guys lets dump a bucket of water on our hostage and they hold onto her as we electrocute her!"

Excuse me why I go an kill myself to avoid even thinking about these movies.

rrclarkcdr
The Neverending Story was very poorly acted, but it's a good children's movie. I didn't think it was pulled off so badly. I have fond memories of it :o

Dude, that movie had so much suspense.

If by suspense you mean two people floating in the water for an hour and ten minutes doing NOTHING, only to have them both die in the end, then yes it's full of suspense. ****ing worst movie anybody tried to make good.

FORREST GUMP? What on Earth made you say that, that's one of my favorite movies. Yes, they Forrest sort of did too much stuff in that movie and Jenny was pretty ugly but it was still awesome. "Life is like a box of chocolates, Felt like something jumped up and bit me in the butt, Hallo I'm Forrest, Forrest Gump." Those all mean nothing?

No I'm not really that mad. I watched part of Plan 9 FOS, but I think that movie was made as a joke, I guess that one movie where the Scary Movie people are in Narnia was the worst for me.
