Pretty much everyone I know likes Step Brothers, which I think is a crappy movie.
The Hangover is also well overrated.

That film is awesome.

But it's not a bad film, nothing wrong with it. :P Kitty! :3
Lol, it's just my opinion. :)If there's anything that I can gather from this thread, it's that there isn't a single movie in the world that even close to everybody likes.

Omg, yes. I did not care for that movie at all
wtf was with the soundtrack in that movie. The first half was just scene. random pop song, scene, random pop song. It was absolutely ludicrous, it was like there was more music than movie.

Lol yes totally. They put music in the dumbest places in that movie. There would be a sceen then suddenly All Along The Watchtower would sound up for like 10 seconds then fade away and id just be sat there thinking wtf just happened :P[QUOTE="GulliversTravel"]CRASH, horrible film, so horrible.Espada12
Is it worse than crank? I doubt it is!
Absolutely! This. Every single person I know that seen this movie said how funny it was and they just couldn't stop laughing. I didn't laugh once and felt the whole time I've seen this movie 15 times before. The Hangover - most unoriginal and unfunny movie ive ever seen

[QUOTE="redstorm72"]Clockwork Orange, The Godfather, Donnie Darko. Everyone loves these movies, but honestly, I found them all to have uninteresting plots and acting. I don't watch movies for their deep inner message, so maybe that's why I don't see what so amazing about these movies.ex-mortis
I strongly disagree on A Clockwork Orange. I don't usually care for deep messages or moral lessons in movies either, but A Clockwork Orange was a damn funny movie. I enjoy black humor like this a lot, and Malcolm McDowell was just excellent in the movie. I thought it was a really entertaining movie in the long run and I don't really care for the anti-violence message that much.
A Clockwork Orange was not a black comedy, it wasn't meant to be funny, and it was not an anti-violence movie, it was about more about being allowed to choose your morals than have them be impossed and forced onto you. "A man who cannot choose ceases to be a man." - F. Alexander
2001 Space Odyssy... 20 min of monkeying around, and a hour and a half of a single space ship floating in space...

Absolutely!Wow that movie must be complete and utter garbage not worthy to even wipe your bum with it it's worse than crank. At least crank is worthy to wipe your bum with.
This one movie where a guy gets trapped in a hotel room and can't get out, and all these random events happen. All the critics loved it but I thought it was a snore fest
Pick a superhero, choose the movie. Escapism is the worst element of modern pop-culture mass-consumerism.
1 movie that all my friends saw in theaters and loved that I didn't care for was 300. Don't know what was wrong with it but I just couldn't get into it. Begin thet flame war on that one. One that I liked that all my friends hated was the movie Garden State. Gotta love the dysfunctionalism.
I'm sure everyone hated that movie, including me.[QUOTE="tekken220"]Disaster Moviemitu123
I think the producer even hated the movie and had conversation with the rest of the cast that sounded like this, "Think we can make some easy money with a really bad movie. Ok, lets do it." This resulted in the horrible disaster movie and the rest of its really bad brethren.
[QUOTE="mitu123"]I'm sure everyone hated that movie, including me. A lot of people I know actually find it funny :? I never laughed when I was watching the movie. Why do people even like this POS? They are in the minority, it bombed in theaters too. And I didn't laugh either, I guess some people prefer that kind of humor.[QUOTE="tekken220"]Disaster Movietekken220
How can I forget that one. My eyes were sizzling after I walked out from the theatre.1 movie that all my friends saw in theaters and loved that I didn't care for was 300.

No, it definately had humor. Are you telling me you watched the scene when he's pushing the woman with the giant-penis-statue-thing with a straight face? It's a film that is both funny, and equally disturbing. Also, like the other poster said, it does happen to be a very entertaing movie, regardless of whether it's art or otherwise.
