One time when I was little, me and my friends were playing hide n seek with the lights off in the house. I walked towards where I though my friend was hiding and I accidentally stepped on the back of one of our kitchen chairs. The chair went back and hit me right in the mouth with so much force that some of my bottom teeth actually went through my lip. That sucked.

Recently I had some kind of urine problem where I would piss blood and it would burn intensely whenever I went to the bathroom so whenever I had the urge to go to the bathroom I would hold it in as hard as I could, that's how bad it felt when I would pee. One of the worst pains/feelings I ever had.

haven't had many injuries in the past several years. my worst in my entire life was probably when i was in kindergarten. at school, we were learning about outer space, so we made astronaut costume things out of paper or something. when i went home that night, i had on my costume and was pretended i was an astronaut, jumping around the living room and stuff. well i jumped off the couch and fell on my shoulder, breaking my collar bone. i cried a lot.

When I broke my elbow and they pulled the pins out with pliers.

Just picture two pins in my elbow that hold the bones together so they heal. But they were fully healed and therefore were attached to the bones pretty good. And they just pulled em out

Tattoo on my back was pretty bad, but I don't think it'll be that bad compared to the day I fall off my motorcycle.

its a three way tie.. and some good reading

1) i twisted my leg in a skateboarding accident (a long time ago) that blew my knee out, my foot was facing the opposite direction (backwards) and i had to pull it straight to get my foot in the right direction. never skated again

2) i got a staff infection on my testicles and it ate a hole into them causing my actual testicles to fall out of my sack, then i had to put them back in by hand. the worse part was digging in it to get the infected puss out of the wound.

3) i had my arm hanging out the window in e town NJ in traffic, and a street bike going about 100 mph hit my arm (and the whole side of the car which was destroyed) and broke the main bone in my arm.. i never actually went to the hospital for that. it just grows crooked now.

honerable mentions: the skin on my shin was shredded off to the bone, and my friend stabbed me in the shin bone with a pen to see if it actually was the bone sticking out (ive never seen my skeleton so it was all new to me and sounded like a good idea at the time)

last but not least i fell off my roof and crushed my spine, had to goto the chyropracter every week for two years straight.. also broke my rib but couldnt really feel it cuz of the crushed spine. i never got that fixed either (the rib i mean)

Headache I had a couple of years ago. It was not a normal headache I tells you!
I had to go to the hospital, and be pumped with liquid painkillers for a few hours before I felt better.
To add insult to injury, they made me undergo drug testing because they thought it was drug-related....

As I always say in these threads, waking up during my appendectomy.xaos

How'd you manage to get through it?

Also, your story reminds me of another I read in a similar topic.
Girl was pregnant, and one of those who were immune to painkillers.
She required a c-section.

Do they still work ok?

Didn't really have any choice; I was held down for the 30 or so seconds it took them to get me back under. The surgeon was shocked that I could remember it, so apparently, even among people who come to awareness during surgery, I come out unusually far. It wasn't a full. incision surgery, but a laproscopic procedure with three small incisions. While conscious, I could feel the incisions and one of the probes that was inside my abdomen :(

A sledding accident. I went down a big hill and crashed into a tree. I hit the tree so hard that I think I flipped. I couldnt breathe for a whole minute and I had to be dragged up the hill. I was in so much pain and I couldnt walk for a few hours. It was a whole month before I could sit, stand, run, walk, or do anything in between without feeling extreme pain. And no, I didnt take pain killers.

Ironicly...

this happened at the hill right infront of the hostpital. At the time I was terrified of the hospital and since I was injured I was afraid that I would end up in the hospital, but luckly I didnt, but I was screaming alot. Not just because I was in pain, but also because I hadnt gotten my booster shots yet:?

No seriously though, I was playing soccer in High School, and I tripped into the goal post. My knee hit it, and my leg bent entirely the wrong way. Not fun.

The worst I can remember is when I hit a loose rock on my dirt bike and got thrown over the bars. I landed right on my head and rolled like 3 times. My head hurt so bad I just stayed on the ground for like 5 minutes curled up in a ball. After my head stopped hurting I noticed other parts of my body that were scraped or bruised. (not very bad, just my lower back). I tried to pick my bike up but I got really dizzy so I layed on the ground for like 20 more minutes, then went back to my house. The bruise and scrapes of my lower back took a while to heal and the muscles still got tight sometimes like 3 months later, but the worst pain of that crash was my head. It wasn't even that bad and I could easily have worse crashes.

Wrecked my cousin's Hyabusa when I was 18. I went over the handlebars (wearing full gear helmet, gloves, padded jacket and pants) at close to 175mph (about 280 km/h *for you guys on the metric system*) my right knee centered a rock on the pavement. I couldn't put weight on my right leg for nearly 3 months

Almost freezing to death.

I was winter backpacking and the weather turned very bad, my lower-end gear couldn't keep me warm. I spent about 10 hours shivering uncontrollably, constantly moving my fingers and toes so as not to get frostbite. It was horrendous and I'll never make the same mistake again.

It may not sound like much, but this experience was awful.

When I was at college, we had a night class that started at 5 and ended at 8. There was a large gap between our first class and this one, so we would go down to Codonas to drink and play pool. Now, whenever I was at college, I would drink a lot of water, which obviously makes you need to piss. So we were at Codonas and I'd drunk a good few Ciders, and as we were leaving, I needed to piss real bad, but I figured I'd wait until we got back to college.

Huge mistake.

What followed was the most excruciating pain I've ever went through. We'd gotten stuck in a huge traffic jam and I had to pee so bad. I've broken bones and they never even compared to this. It didn't even take us that long to get back to college, but the pain was getting worse each second. When I finally got to college, I could barely walk. I was almost limping down the hall to the bathroom. Even after I'd pee'd the pain was still there, and to this day, I've got a very weak bladder.

Hell, if I wasn't going back to college for a 3 hour class, I would have easily pissed myself.

[QUOTE="incred_davis"]2) i got a staff infection on my testicles and it ate a hole into them causing my actual testicles to fall out of my sack, then i had to put them back in by hand. the worse part was digging in it to get the infected puss out of the wound.Baconbits2004

Oh my god. I don't see why this isn't number one. @_@

Do they still work ok?
If you don't mind me asking... that just sounds really, really bad.

it was number one but i kinda had to warm everyone up to it... you dont just open with that one lol.
they work fine but once in a while the nerve endings that were damaged all of a sudden fire off and i get insane stomache convulsions..that and the actual mental scarring that took place.. you have no idea what its like to peel the infected skin froma wound in that region, if the skin grew over the wound then the infectionwoulda been trapped in my body and i wouldvegone into septic shock and mightve died... so i had to basically keep the wound open for four or five months until the insidehealed first.. then i let it close.

My most recent incident would be getting the WORST NIPPLE TWISTER I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. It happened today. I have also had many bike accidents and other unfortunate events

[QUOTE="JoeJoeLaker"]

[QUOTE="incred_davis"]

its a three way tie.. and some good reading

2) Thats I N S A N E . Really thats gross. You must of had some balls to go through that, No Pun Intended.

yea it was bad, went into shock about three times... five hospital visits and a couple of specialists.. five months total of unmatched pain. plus the joy of having to show my mangled stuff to like fourteen doctors.

Damn that sucks :?, how old were you when it happened?
