joke or not... playing jokes that cruel on a kid that young on Christmas morning is not cool

The point is: parents get their enjoyment out of humiliating their own son. Plus they tape it. That's disgusting.

It's only not funny because the kid had gotten so happy at the thought of it. If his elation was a couple notches lower and he was just "very happy" instead of having that "Oh my gosh, thank you God, I promise to build several churches in Your honour" face, it would have been funny. A good ribbing. And also, how they just focus on his crushed and angry face for like a full minute doesn't help.

One time my mom did the opposite, she put some really cool stuff in a stupid Marshalls box or some other lame clothing store and stuffed it so that shaking it would sound sort of like clothes. Disappointed, I opened it and was surprised to see a bunch of kickass stuff 8)

[QUOTE="aaronmullan"][QUOTE="Toriko42"]I laughed, so hard I mean y'all take this so seriously

It wouldn't be that funny if your parents did it to you as a kid now, would it?

Oh hell no but most of OT laughs at Boxxxy Babe after her boyfriend posted that video of her...How does she feel? Only reason y'all are mad is because it's a kid but who cares...I think it's funny.

This is a pretty old video, his parents thought they teach him a lesson by peeking at the gifts early but this seems harsh :?

Actually, the parents really did have a 360 but they returned it and put a bag full of clothes instead, which seems kinda mean coming up empty handed, i wouldve done this to my kid and say that the 360 is in your room.

realistic44
Nah they didn't return the xbox they gave it to him later. this is hilarious.

Yeah, I got moderated for that once "Racism". The Reason was my post could be "Misinterpreted" as "Racist". All I did was state that they now had A Black kid playing as the "New Karate Kid". :?

I think saying they're the worst parents ever is quite an exaggeration, but yeah, that's pretty awful. I can't believe the stupid dad is laughing in the background. I would've been pissed.

I don't see the point in that. Not even that funny. The mom acts like it's okay that they did that, simply because they can't afford one.

EDIT: Vid not supposed to be funny as far as I can tell- just evil parents being evil.

Scoob64

even though the parents did a cruel joke, he did get his 360..

Well, if they had the box, I'm sure they bought the 360. They probably just hid it and filled the box up with clothes to prank the kid and then gave it to him later.

Theyre just begging for trouble to be quite honest, watch as the kid grows older and pull out a weapon towards them.

I saw that vid a while back, and I still think "poor kid". I don't know if his parents did it on purpose, or if they just used the empy box for convenience. I feel bad because of the sad look on that little boys face.

I think that's a pretty terrible thing to do to a child, regardless of whether he got it in the end or not. They're still breaking his heart either way, and raising his hopes and then subsequently crushing them for a quick laugh at his expense on a day that he and all children cherish is flat out wrong. His reaction andexpression were painful to witness, and I fail how anyone can see this as funny.

Go ahead and tell me to lighten up, but man that was heartless. Of course my parents did something similar to me when I was young, so perhaps I'm a tad jaded.

Ha I still think this is funny.

That kid experienced a rollercoaster of emotions. First the extreme happiness of thinking he got an Xbox 360, then the heartbreaking disappointment of thinking he didn't get an xbox 360. Then actually finding out he DID get an Xbox 360. He went from the top to the bottom back to the top.
