It was a stand alone by disney. Meet the robinsins was actually good. It has a good twist in the story and it has a good moral end.
I was very negative about Cars until I saw it. It was pleasantly surprising. Still, I didn't care for or agree with its message about preserving heritage over progress. What bothers me about that is that heritage itself is just progress from the past, and there is no justification for freezing past progress in time to prevent future progression. So I have to pick that one as my least favorite.
My favorites for both their story and their message were The Incredibles, Ratatouille, A Bug's Life, and Finding Nemo. The former three are particularly special to me as their stories concentrate primarily on individual strengths and achievements. The first and third also contain strong themes in which the protagonists refuse to give "sanction of the victim" to their oppressors. Finding Nemo was special for other reasons though -- it was about overcoming loss, and not allowing a personal tragedy to turn you into a close-in. And the story of the protective father doing all he could to save his son, and learning along the way that overprotection was a negative rather than a positive, was extremely touching to me.
[QUOTE="MetallicaKings"]i hated ratatouille.commando611
Same Here..Who Made hoodwinked because that totally sucked.
According to IMDB, Blue Yonder Films.
Considering the fact that the newest one I've seen was Cars, it's tough to say. :?
Ratatouille looked awful, so I didn't make any attempt to see it. Their new one (that hasn't come out yet) about the robot all by himself or whatever looks awful, too. I'm not saying that that's my final opinion, though, so don't quote me on that.
Out of the ones I have seen, though, it would have to be A Bug's Life... but I like that one. :? Toy Story and Toy Story 2, Cars and The Incredibles are my favorite. A Bug's Life was great, but nowhere near my favorite. The short with the old guy playing chess by himself was better, IMO.
