It could be something worse--like video proof of me posting here in OT. :(
Got in an argument once and he insulted me with all his built up feelings. We are still good friends, but I will never forget what he said. He couldn't have made it up at the time, it was obvious those were his feeling all along and probably still are. When this argument was going on, there is so much stuff I could have said to him, insults that would have really hurt him, but I held it in. If I had said what I deep down wanted to say we wouldnt be friends anymore.
Its sad too here these stories of false trust, friends do stab you in the back at times but for me something even worse happened. In short, The Smashing Pumpkins were coming here to the Fillmore in San Fran back two years ago, their first tour since 2001, I bought 4 tickets, all in different nights (mind you the tickets all sold out in seconds completely) The way i bought 4 was each one of my friends was buying one using my credit card. Well you can guess what happened next. One of them basically stole my ticket (both of them actually, since i got 2 for that night) sold it and gave the other away. At the time he pretended that the tickets were not coming in and being my friend i believed him. It wasn't until the next week that one of my friends, who is not even a big fan of the band, told me how amazing the concert was,I asked her why would she buy a ticket if she's not even a big fan, and she told me my friend gave it to her
I confronted him about it, and being the typical air head frat that he was, tried to play it off and make it seem like it wasnt a big deal. I stopped talking to him and never seen his stupid face again.
It may not sound like a big deal, but being a hardcore fan that I am, I was extremely pissed.
Shot me in close range with an airsoft gun multiple times. I have a small scab on my shin, a circular bruise on my side, and a laceration on my neck.
I broke away from a group of friends that just generally treated me like crap. They tried to exclude me at all turns and they all talked about me behind my back. They were just really childish and rude, so I left that group.
I'm so happy that I did. My ex-best friend (of 10+ years) used to ditch me for her significant others all the time. That ended our friendship.
I have a history of crappy friendships, here are the worst things my friends have done to me:
-Told my deepest, darkest secret to all of my other friends, and people that hardly knew me.
- Blackmailed me
- Told every single embarassing thing about me to everyone they possibly could
- Convinced my girlfriend to break up with me through complete lies
For telling my biggest secret, I seriously doubt I will ever forgive that person for it. I put all of my trust into them to never tell anyone that, and they went and told everybody all because of one single stupid reason.
Backstabbing friends hopefully are history, I'm just hoping the stupid drama of Middle and High School are over now that we're all in College.
meh, just that they didn't invite me to go somewhere with them and found out through facebook... they weren't very subtle either, but they still my homies but that still sucks :P
