Worst TV Netowrks

What are your favorite, and worse TV Networks?

I only watch the Food Network, The Military Channel, History Channel, Discovery Channel and all the premium movie channels (HBO, starz, etc...). Soooo pretty much everything else bores me. If I had to pick some I despise though it would be MTV ( I can't stand their reality shows) and BET.

I very rarely watch TV. When I do it is Sci-fi or History Channel.

Favs-- Nickelodeon, USA, The CW, and ABC Family.

Worst-- MTV, BET, VH1, and Cartoon Network.

I don't really watch TV much anymore though--when everything is much more "on-demand" for me online.

Faves - Travel Channel, Nickelodeon, Discovery Channel, Cartoon Network. Food Network

Likes: Mtv, mtv2, espn, discovery, history, spike, vh1, cooking channel, fox, cartoon network (adult swim), news channels, nick (Nick@nite), A&E, FX .think thats it

Love: mun2, MTV, MTV2, MTV Tr3s, Telefe, Telemundo, Comedy Central, FX, Fox (for Lie to Me, House, and the cartoon stuff on Sunday), Nick, Sci Fi Movies, Headline News (love Nancy Grace)

Hate: Disney Channel, PBS, Central America TV channels, VH1, VH1 Classic, BuyProducts (321), Jewelry Auction channel, Paid Programming channel

I like alot of different channels, too many to list out. But there are a handful of bad ones that are worth mentioning:

VH1: it's a channel based around celebrity glamour and reality TV shows that exploit that celebrity glamour. Exactly the kind of TV that needs to go away.

Spike: My friend and I were just talking about this today. This channel perpetuates the typical male stereotypes of guys that only care about sex, beer and watching football. Has anyone seen the show called MANswers? Exactly what I'm talking about. Pathetic.

The G4 channel sickens me. Today I scanned the guide to find a show video-game related on it, and the first show I found was X-Play, tommorrow at 1PM. I searched at around 12PM today. Very sad considering as this was a channel that once prided itself on it's video game content. Excellent shows like Cinematech, Cheat, Arena, and Brainiac have been tossed in favor for shows such as Cops, Cheaters, Outrageous Videos, and the International Sexy Ladies Show. WTF? All of the shows G4 now airs are recycled from channels such as Spike and the WB. And this would be fine of course, if they were reserved for late-night programming, or day-time television. But no, they make up the prime-time block, from 7PM-11PM, and other various times of the day. Who watches this crap? What made G4 decide to dump all of its excellent original programming in favor for recycled junk? Even X-Play sucks now; they got rid of all the funny sketches from before, lost all humor in reviews, and now have to condense the show "Cheat" inside thier timeblock. G4, as far as I'm concerned, put a gun to its head and pulled the trigger the second they ****** with thier original programming.

Apparently, there is "bonus content" on their website for Deadliest Warriors. Not very pleased to see "best nipple slips" on the home page.

Nickelodeon nowadays. All I see is Spongebob. I want the old shows back.

Favorites: VH1 Classic, TCM, Comedy Central, The History channel, History international, FUNimation, boomerang, ESPN, ESPNews, Discovery channel, National Geographic and the NFL network.

G4 lost a lot of its shows because of ratings. Not enough people were watching them. There was an article about it in Game Informer a few months back.

Like: GOL TV, ESPN, ESPN2, G4, FSC, HBO, History Channel, Food Channel(only when Giada is on though, and I use to like 2 Fat Ladies)

Dislike: MTV, VH1, BET, FOX News, Lifetime, SPIKE

Anything National Geographic, is just, man, I love me some Nat Geo. I get the magazine, watch the shows, get some Nat Geo maps, and I am probably going to send them my info for their Human Genome-like project.
