Who says we will die eventually though? At the current rate of medicinal advances, it is predicted that human life can be extended significantly within the next few decades. And by that time, who knows perhaps downloading human consciousness into an artifical state will be possible therefore allowing humans to live forever i.e. i can reminisce for all the woman I have sex with until the end of time.......

If you haven't noticed, I was being facetious (as I was with the last part of my original post). But to answer your question, I guess it just depends on how you live your life. There are things I want to experience in life, if I don't then I would regret not being able to. Of course if I'm dead then I suppose it is a moot point isn't it?

No. I haven't left any kind of legacy behind: no scientific discoveries, nothing under my name, no contributions to humanity, I haven't even had children (not that I want to, at this point in my life). I would prefer to go out on a bit more of a high note. The last 5 months have been pretty rough on my emotional and mental health. I've had a good life so far though. When it's my time, it's my time.
