Not really into tv shows. Rather spend it on feature films.

I would certainly buy my favorite tv series since now a days most tv shows suck. I mean really, we have like less then 8 shows that are of any quality and they usually are not on when you want to watch them so why not own them and watch them on your time, or you could simply use Hulu I guess for some of them. 1. The Simpsons 2. Always Sunny in Phili 3. South Park 4. The X-Files 5. Band of Brothers 6. The Wonder Years (for nostalgic sake) Maybe.... 1. The Office 2. Friday Night LIghts 3. Married with Children

I love to own all my favorite films, that would cost one very shiny penny.

I used to do this. I have a ton of TV shows from the most recent such as the Simpsons to some very old ones like MacGuyver and A-Team. I can't afford to do this anymore, w hich is why I only really do it with the ones I really love.

Oh God.. there was a time I would have said yes... but unfortunately, some shows aren't really worth multiple viewings, in my experience. Let me just get it out there that I have all of Joss Whedon's complete "library" (Firefly, Angel, Buffy), complete series of Veronica Mars, complete series of Arrested Development, complete series of Alias, seasons 1-5 Stargate SG-1, 1-4 Stargate Atlantis, season 1 of Prison Break and House and Chuck...

Firefly never gets old. I love the series way, way too much. I rewatched Angel and Buffy over the course of the month... still pretty great. I recently bought the third season of AD and I've seen that a bunch online. Arrested Development is definitely rewatchable. However... I am sorry to say I don't think the rest of my collection was totally worth it.

I loved SG-1. I remember thinking to myself, finishing up the fourth season, "Damn this show is amazing." However, when I sat down to watch it and show my sister the first season, (Children of the Gods is still one of the most amazing episodes I've ever seen..) by episode 8, I remembered almost every plot summary, and none of the episodes felt like I needed to rewatch them.

This was the same in Veronica Mars. I enjoyed watching it through (it being the highlight of my day, at the time I bought them), but when I tried to rewatch the series, I was thinking, "This episode was kind of boring, I didn't like what happened here..." and so on.

Chuck... is a great show. But the more I watch it, the more I find out that though the first three episodes are extremely well done, the rest of the season goes a little downhill, save for a couple more episodes later on in the season.

Alias just dropped the ball. First season rocked. Second season was pretty interesting, and some bits in the third were cool. Fourth was boring as hell, but fifth is just picking up... but the DVD came scratched, so I gotta return it sometime this week.

For the shows I watch online or on TV, I could see me owning The Office. Though I haven't seen a really good price for the seasons for me to pick up. Smallville... is a problem. Its price is great at Costco, but the problem is, I like to start from season 1 and buy up. But the problem is.. I don't like season 1 or 2. 3 and 4 are kind of boring, 5 I actually enjoyed, but there's nothing really there that makes me want to slap down 25 bucks.

Well, if money isn't a problem, I'd if by DVD you mean BluRay, and in 720p.

I already have all three seasons of Star Trek (TOS), and that's about it. If I had some extra cash around, I'd think about picking up Arrested Development, Star Trek: TNG, and maybe Seinfeld...but it's not a big deal to me.
