Would you date a girl who already has a kid?

Some women are single mothers these days. There boyfriend gets them pregnant and then they get dumped. Would you ever date a girl who already has a kid who is single? I would not that would be awkward.

It's jumping head first into the role of a parent. If a 16 year old girl has a child and is single, not many guys around her age would be willing to date her because the child is seen as baggage.

As long as the woman would be willing to be patient with me, I would do it.

The kid isn't what would make me have second thoughts, it'd be that she screwed around to begin with. I don't go for girls like that. If she realized she messed up, and was looking for something more. Then I don't see a problem with it.

As far as the child, I'd be concerned most with what he or she would think of me( assuming the child is old enough to comprehend such things)

There are a lot of young moms outhere, if i like her, then sure, why not, however, having a relationship? maybe, maybe not.

Also, i think the age or her kid is important.

As a rule, no. I don't want to raise someone elses kids. Mainly because it is such an evolutionary cliche. Women want to breed with the bad boys, then find stable good boys to raise the kids (sociological fact). I won't play into their games.

The thing is, there is a difference between dating someone, and being a parent. the question was, would you date her?

Most reasonable single mums, at least the ones i know, know full well that a bloke isn't going to want to jump head on into being a dad. But with time, you never know.

and hey, if my 16 year old daughter had a kid with some d-bag that left her, she would hav a great excuse

I personally have no sympathy for 16 year olds with kids. It aint like there isn't enough information about sex floating around to know to protect yourself!

For me? Never, I dont plan on leaving my current girlfriend. But if said senerio were to happen, then yes I would.
