Im suprised by the amount of people here who dont want kids at all. Your choice. Like Sage_of_Fire, if i adopt, il adopt one of every race. EVERY race. Make a little army.

Don't get me wrong, I love kids. But I would never want to adopt one. I wouldn't want the kid to grow up without knowing his/her true parents. Also I think it might become awkward at times. Would the child call you father/mother? or by your first name? I just think It makes much more sense, and has more meaning to have a child of your own.RedDraco66

See, I don't really understand this mentality. If you adopt a child while he/she is still an infant, how are you not the child's true parent? The parent is the one who raises the child, not gives birth to the child. It's like saying if I suddenly told a mother I switched her child at birth with someone else, all of a sudden she'd treat her child differently.

yes i would adopt a child if i had the means to do so. orphanage homes are not great.

I would if I couldn't have kids of my own.

Yes I could easily see myself adopting a child, if I had the resources.

Not sure. If its anything like it is in The Sims 3 then no way :| I can only handle one sim at a time.
