live the same day over and over again, today being that day? But there are catches that are good and bad, and this choice is given solely to you.

1. It will remain the same day for the next 3 years

2. Any and all changes will remain to the world

3. People in the world virtually and in reality are frozen with time. They cannot be interacted with physically and cannot talk

4. it is basically 3 years of solitude to do whatever you want

5. You can still die

6. Everything will run normally, even things that would have taken people to work such as electricity.

Would you do it? would you live for years in solitude doing whateveer you wanted? Or would you pass on this opportunity?

Live a Monday for 3 years of my life? Count me out...

EDIT: *actually reads the rest of your post*

Hmm, being able to do what I want while everyone else is frozen sounds very nice, but 3 years sounds a bit long...

Maybe a Saturday, but the question is if you travel to another place that day and sleep there will you wake up there or back at home in your own bed?

I think it depends on what you can do from your bed. If you could use the Internet, play games, watch DVDs, and conduct research, it would be very interesting.

NOTE: I assume that steps would be taken for personal hygiene (e.g. bathing) and avoiding health issues like bedsores.

Three years? I'd struggle to do three weeks.

The monotony would be crippling.

nope, time is rotating the same day, but you live in the free enviroment, but everyone else is frozen in time. You can travel on foot around the world if you wanted.

What? So I'd be the only able to do anything for three years, but I'd be still going to classes, because I'm in college right now.

Make it 3 days and I'll be good. 3 years is just a bit much to be alone. But the thought of doing anything I want (including looting Best Buy for a plasma screen TV and iPod Touch) sounds tempting. :P

I would definitely do that. I don't think that 3 years is enough time to do all the things I would want to do if time were stopped.

3 years is a bit too much, maybe month or two max. Now would video cameras still work, as would go into banks/rich peoples homes and borrow some items for to be used later. :D

3 years is a bit much but i wouldn't mind it, i'ld learn to live by myself and learn to cook and such, sounds quite nice but i think i may get boared after a while, if it was closer to one year then fine

Ya, I'd do it.

I'd do something like steal a bunch of money and stuff so when the 3 years are up, I'd be set for the rest of my life.

yes i believe i would. you can do a lot of stuff in 3 years like for example try to fly a jet plane, drive all speedboats, sport cars etc. you can on computer anytime you want, you can listen to any music and watch any movies. Plus if time stopped I would be able to check the tests issued by the government for that year, so i would get A+ in everything. however i would miss not being able to talk to anybody, and im worried i might suffer psychocological problems after the 3 years

would the day reset each day, or would it be continuous time? because i think i could handle it if i knew that i could be rich and comfortable every day after that. but if everything i did got undone when i went to sleep then it would be awfully frustrating.

i'd probably write a book about it, once again, if time didn't reset. that would be the clincher for me. but if i had to relive the exact same day forever, without being able to interact with anyone, it's pretty much guaranteed that i'd go insane.

i guess the other question is, would I age? if i wouldn't age, and everyone would think that everything was exactly the same (so i lived 3 years in 1 second to them), then I'd do it. I would get as smart as possible and then use that knowledge to benefit myself.

live the same day over and over again, today being that day? But there are catches that are good and bad, and this choice is given solely to you.

1. It will remain the same day for the next 3 years

2. Any and all changes will remain to the world

3. People in the world virtually and in reality are frozen with time. They cannot be interacted with physically and cannot talk

4. it is basically 3 years of solitude to do whatever you want

5. You can still die

6. Everything will run normally, even things that would have taken people to work such as electricity.

Would you do it? would you live for years in solitude doing whateveer you wanted? Or would you pass on this opportunity?

sexaylady

And you can't interact with people? so no ra... oh, I pass.

see, i wouldn't steal a lot from each bank. just a few dollars here and there. people would miss a million from one bank, but if i stole a few hundred from every bank, then they wouldn't be sending out the SWAT teams to get me.

What fun would it be if there were no people to talk to? I have fun hanging out with my friends, so....

Just look at Cast Away.....Willson saved his life by giving him someone to spend time with......

Plus there would be no use for xBox Live, who am I going to play online Call of Duty with?
