OMFG I'd scream like a little girl  thankfully we don't get evil creatures like that in England :D
[QUOTE="gun-runner"]I could never sleep in a room, even stay in a room knowing there is an insect in there.FunkWeaselWhile I hate spiders, quite a few ladybugs (10 or so) have taken up residence in my room. They're small, they keep out of my way, they don't look gross, and they prey on other insects, so I've decided to let them stay. kill them now before its too late!!! Also, for the ones asking, I live in NYC. I did a bit of reading on em and they kill roaches, spiders, all the other crap I hate. Damn, why they have to be so creepy looking  ? Also, YOUTUBE has videos of how fast they are.
Wikipedia has this great picture of that bug:

Meh, that's not so bad. It looks like an ant.
According to Wikipedia they are all over the United States going as far north as Canada. I live in Pennsylvania and in my over 17 years of living in this house I have never seen one.
I'm kinda immune to fear of bugs now every since my experiance in Laos when I was staying in a small village in the middle of the forest, I had just turned out the torch to go to bed and thought I saw something scuttle behind the curtains (no electricity at this time) so I turned my torch back on and crushed the thing with a book. It was the size of a freaking plate.
lol, I did that last night.No. I would throw both of my cats in the room, shut the door and come back in an hour.
SOedipus

Yea, I've seen one here in Toronto but I've already been here for 5 years so I feel pretty safe only having sen one once in my ime here :) They're less common here.
Ha, wow. Coincidence?
I just found one of those crawling around my room the other day.
And a second one about 15 minutes ago.
To answer your question? No, probably not right after I saw one. But, I suppose if enough time had passed and it's been out of sight, I'd be able to sleep a lot better.
No I would not be happy with the fact there is a demon in my room, I will scream the loudest scream and I will not sleep for 6 days. I will kill everyone of these children of Satan until they are extinct.Famiking
Woooo! You tell them, if you have lots of hem in your house get a lucky chicken. :D
I would kill it then I would stay out of that room for a week, my greatest fear on this earth is bugs. Thank god i live where it is cold all the time.Little_Big_Dude

True, but it sure is taking its sweet time this year, I have yet to see temperatures over 60.
No, I wouldn't be able to sleep until I kill that thing. In fact, I think I wouldn't be able to sleep after seeing that thing. I don't really like bugs.

Those things love hiding behind my PC and television set, and anywhere else with shadows.
If I see one, I squash them because I got bitten by one before -_-
