Wow at all you sick people that said yes.

Marka1700
I said yes and I am proud of it. Least I am not lying to myself or others. Alot of the people who said no in this thread if actually given the option of getting a billion dollars for 1 life would do it. Not everyone of course but some of the people here pretending to be high and mighty would change their opinion quite quick if they had a billion dollars sitting in front of them

If the someone was a random person of my choosing, i would send out an advertisement asking for someone who would be willing to die in exchange for their family receiving 5 million or maybe more of my prize money. I would then make and sign an agreement to make sure I have his and his families consent. I would allow him to have the death of his liking, whether it be lethal injection or a fire. A person would then be hired to carry out the procedure so I can feel as little guilt as possible.

So, yes. But only under very special circumstances.

Just like some of the people who said 'yes' are only lying to make themselves lookdifferent than they are. I doubt some of the people who said 'yes' would actually go through with it. The Internet is a means for some people to act like something they are not.

Perhaps but 1 billion dollars is way to huge of a number to actually think that people would not kill for it. You are putting to much faith in people. 1 billion dollars is a very comfy cushion in comparison to some guilt

I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion I'm putting too much faith in people. That's beside the point though. I doubt many people on here would turn into a murderer if offered a billion dollars. That comfy cushion you are mentioning wouldn't be so comfy in prison. There are numerous problems to what you are suggesting. When the time comes to actually go through it, I still stand by that many who voted 'yes' would not go through with it if any at all. All one has to realize is ending up in prison would not be worth it. It seems to me it is more likely to lie and say 'yes' than it is to lie and say 'no'.

It depends on who the person is. If it's somebody I don't like, then sure. But if it's somebody I don't have a hatred for, then probably not. I wouldn't want to have the guilt on my shoulders, and I'd go to jail anyway.

Depends on the person and whether or not I have to hunt them down, if I'll be punished/attacked for killing the person, and if I'll be rewarded outside of the money.

No, I wouldn't. But it makes an interesting point because I could use a billion dollars to save anywhere from thousands of lives to hundreds of thousands of lives.

You do realize that a billion dollars would get you easily out of prison with plenty of cash to spare. You could either buy your way out through the judge and or a legal method or you could just pay someone to break you out. With a billion dollars you could likely spend 200 million getting the best of the best to get you out and have 800 million to do with as you please. 200 million is a high estimate. You likely could get yourself out of prison either way with just a few million here and there.

Not quite.. Seeing as they would freeze your bank accounts, since your assets were specifically gotten by that murder..

I would glady take the life of a murderer, creep, rapist, terrorist, or some other scum of society. I might even turn down the money, or I would spend the 1 billion on high tech equipment to become a Vigilante that dispatches evil. Eh, sounds good right?

I would want the cash upfront before hand. No bank accounts. Cold hard cash. They can't seize that if I hide it well enough :)

The responses in this thread are somewhat disturbing.

Mogotoo
this answers to this thread prove the world is ending murder is not the answer to problems and neither is 1 billion dollars. the fact someone would do it for any amount of money says alot about that person

.. There is a trick question to this.. With a fraction of this money alone you could save countless lives of people who are starving to death or suffering from easilly curable diseases.

Absolutely not, I find it incredibly selfish and greedy to rob someone of their gift of life, so that I can live more comfortably (lazily).

If they supplied the weapon, gave me information on thetarget and told me where the target will be when I am supposed to assassinate them, with what kind of security they will have, and made it generally easy, yes.

Yes it does....... Why do you think it took until the price of AIDS drugs to drop before they were sent to Africa? ===== And this thread is ridiculous with the high and mighty saying "I can't believe all the "yes" answers". Just think about where your money goes when you buy things at stores......High calorie food contributing to pre-mature death from obesity, alcohol contributing to liver failure and DUI related deaths, and tobacco contributing to cancer deaths. That is just a few vices that give people pleasure and people use them everyday. This is just a significantly more direct approach to getting pleasure.
