I would move to the US if the price was right, and I would be somewhat selective on the city I go to.  As for Europe yeah I would go their too, but not every country.

I wouldn't mind living in Europe for a bit if I could afford it, but I think of one single advantage to living over there.

Europe ofcourse.....but it depends on what country.....eastern europe (Hungary and parts of poland) is not very attractive, reminds me of sovjet russia

Western Europe (80% of the continent and 100% of EU) has some of the highest living standards in the world so I would choose Europe based on that alone.

I'm happy living in the US. I have a good job, my family is here, I'm going to buy a house soon, taxes are low. I'm really comfortable. One thing I am not happy with os our political situation, but there are millions of Americans who feel the same way. I've been to Europe several times, lived in Spain for five months and I loved it, but it would never feel like home.

Even though the US has some very unattractive double standards, you can't be arrested in the US for voicing your opinion like in most European countries. Try saying that the jewish holocaust didn't occur while you're in a european country and see of you don't land in jail.

riiiight, you don't really know what your talking about.......Europeans can say WHATEVER they want except the thing about the holocaust, it's a touchy subject.  just look at the mohammed cartoons  in Denmark, that's what I call free speech.

oh yeah , we don't censor our national TV channels either and people voice their opinions in debates without fearing law suits

That's funny, I'm 100% sure that I posted half a page about how america help the world economy and that it is an important western nation, and that not every american is an ignorant piece of redneck trash.......that was in the topic about China vs. USA

And we speak fluent English so we don't have to learn any other languages. French and German are impossible. :P

It'd really be easier if English became the first language in all of europe though.

If I was of the opinion that the jewish holocaust was overblown and never occurred on the scale they say it did, and I voiced that opinion publicly, I would go to jail for voicing my opinion. I wholeheartedly disagree with the concept, regardless of the vulgarity of such an opinion, or the narrowness of enforcement.

btw, how are your gas prices over there? :) (don't lie, I have relatives in europe)

Tell that to my grades, I finished German with a 2/10 :P

The nouns, pronouns and adjectives drove me crazy.

And IMO English can be a very pretty language, it all depens on the speaker I suppose. If everyone spoke the way Anne Rice wrote, well, I wouldn't mind, to say the least.

Well, I was used to not doing anything at all in school, and I was constantly reading books in English, and I have a natural affinity to Maths and science. I probably could do German if I tried, I just never bothered to. :P

Why would you want to offend the jews by saying that? The few countries were that rule exists did it becuase of sympathy towards the jews, not because they wanted to controll the people...

I don't know really what the gas prices are, last week it was 1,44 (dollars)
