[QUOTE="GladlyHandly"][QUOTE="Lonelynight"] Doesn't seem like a bad comparison really.worlock77

Of course I don't think kids are as bad as AIDS. I'm just mentioning examples of things that girls can keep secret.

You do realize that a person could have AIDS and kids and yet never have even been married right?

Err... That would be a sin, worlock.

[QUOTE="starwarsjunky"][QUOTE="needled24-7"]that's also easier said than done. but you're right, i would most definitely deserve an answer.

needled24-7

it really isn't. just bring it up when you're watching tv or something one night. if she refuses to answer, its over. period.

maybe if it was early in the relationship. if you wait to bring it up soon before you want to ask her to marry you, then you probably already love her a pretty good bit. i doubt it would be easy to just walk away from a woman you love.

it absolutely would be early. not the first date or anything, but i'd say within the first month.

First of all: Big mess, that's the first thing that comes to mind.

A person going through divorce has big psychological stress on them, if you think about it they had confessed their life to someone some point in their life and all of the sudden that plane of happiness crashed, her trust is going to be hard to earn, and she's always gonna have problems about her past no matter what you do; it'll be worse if she had kids; and it'd be worse for you if the kids were living with you. A big mess I would never step my foot in, but that's only because that's the kind of person I am, I'm simple, only complicated when needed. Met my gf when she was 12, she's 15 now, decided we're gonna get married soon, we've gone through all that junk about the past, what's happened and what-not and everything's set for us. This really is just a lesson to keep everything straight at the beginning of your life before you regret it later.

Anywho no I wouldn't marry a divorced woman

starwarsjunky

dude, just wait. don't marry her too early. many times your life changes in your college years and you find out you aren't nearly compatible as you were in your high school / jr high years. at least wait til you're both done with college. don't make the mistake of marrying too young.

Yeah don't worry about me dude I'm not a go-happy guy, and I'm not rushin anythin between us we do everything when it feels right You have a good point though, I'll be on my toes :P

Btw to everyone: Marrying soon I meant marrying at age 20+, not under

make sure you do. please. at your age, marriage shouldn't even be a thought. i know of way too many people that married too young because they thought they were in love, but they completely changed now they're divorced.

It's pretty hard to keep kids a secret when you're at the "marry" stage. For that matter, it's pretty hard to keep AIDS a secret.

Umm.. why is it hard to keep AIDS a secret?

[QUOTE="STAR_Admiral"]Nope. She has proven that she cannot commit to a marriage and she may end up divorcing me as well. She has proven that she cannot uphold the vows she made, So why should i believe her when she makes those vows to me? I would not marry nor date a previously married woman even if she divorced because her husband cheated on her. cd_rom
LOL again!

how is that funny?

Of course. My mom is divorced. She is one of the most nicest, coolest, funniest people you can mmet. The only reason she got divorced was because my dad cheated on her. So I'm sure she is not the only one. Judging from your opinion TC I can tell your very young and naive.

It's just weird to me to think about that. My girlfriend right now is the same age as me and if we get married then I'll know everything about her post-puberty life. I don't have to worry about STDs, jealous boyfriends/husbands, her having and abandoming kids or having an abortion or anything. With a married woman she probably has all of those things. GladlyHandly

Yea, she probably does. Just like every divorced man has STDs, jealous girlfriends/wives, numerous illigetimate (or legitimate) abandoned children, and they all encouraged their ex gfs/wives to have an abortion. I mean... if you married your gf but it didn't work out, that would automatically describe you, right? You've done some of those things already or you plan to?

Right. How sad.

Seriously, if someone wanted to keep it a secret that they had AIDS the only thing they would have to do is not tell anyone.

she can be a gold digger..... after the 20 year prenup is up. all is fair in love and war, but it is always best never to mix business and pleasure.

i disagree. I would rather have a new car, then a used car. Sure it takes a little time to get use to driving, but once you know what your doing its smooth sailing from there.

The analogy might even fit once they make cars that can....uh....nevermind.
