Would you rather be a kid or an adult?

Ok. All of us here have gone through young childhood (under 13). Some of us are adults with jobs and maybe even a family to care for. So, my question to you is, would you rather be a young kid with parents to obey but hardly no responsibilities, or would you rather be an adult who lives on his own but has responsibilities like working full time? I would say I'd rather be a kid. School may stink but at least you have time and energy to play.

Kids cause than I get to grow up an being a kid is fun.
Also than I have longer to live.

Death is indiscriminant of age...look at the amount of car accidents involving young people before making remarks like that.

I would rather be at the age I am now, a young adult. Old enough to be independent and have my own responsibilities (like work, University), but young enough to be dependent on my parents.

Isnt there a choice to be a teen..

Teens are still kids technically. Legally, if you're under the age of 18 in the U.S. you're a minor, or a kid. But I've heard that some people think that adulthood really begins at age 26.

or depending on the age of the person asked. 26 year olds are still kids to most of the adult population in my experience.

I'd rather be 100 years old because then I'd have a leigion of people to take care of me solely out of ethics :D

Kid = No job, no drama, no deep theory and defending philosophical positions. Easily entertained, time to play, no homework, parents are still funny and fun to be around, a willingness to swim in public pee, er, pools.

It may not have certain advantages like sex, driving, having money, but wasn't it just so much more carefree?

Iloved being a kid. Simple happy days.

Now it's all study, work, study, work, girls, money, study, friends, stress. ARGH!

I wanna go back to the days when my biggest worry was if I'd be home in time for my favorite tv show.darklord888

Yep, I agree with that. It was all about coming home from school and waiting for your favorite cartoon, or spending saturday mornings watching cartoons. Now it's come home from work and sleep.
