If you had a gun would you? I would shoot him in the leg to stop him from steeling my stuff, also I want to see if he trips over and hits hes face against the wall.
To me, shooting an unarmed person, no matter what he's doing seems completely wrong and unnecessary. But I wouldn't hesitate to shoot someone if they had a gun, or they were comming at me with a knife.

I would hold the gun. Tell the guy to sit on the couch. keep the gun held at him. Call the cops while keeping my hostage until they arrive. If he does not cooperate then I will bring the bullets into it.

If he didn't, but he stole my stuff, I'd tell him to drop it or I'll shoot. If he complies, he leaves unharmed. If he doesn't, I'd shoot the floor. If he still didn't drop the goods, I'd aim for the leg.

The thing is, if you shoot him in the leg, he will probably either sue you or file attempted murder charges. If your going to shoot, then you shoot to kill. If he was unarmed, I would just threaten him...

1. I dont own a gun so, so much for that plan
2. I have fought people with weapons before, never guns though, not as hard as you think though if you get a hold of the hand that the gun is in.

I would probably just wave the gune menacingly around or shoot just above their head to scare them off but if it comes to it and they have a knife or they are threatening then I would shoot them in the leg.

If he is unarmed then I'd just point the gun at him. If he had a weapon that isn't a gun on him, then I'd shoot his leg. If he had a gun on him, I'd kill him.
