I can't goto Mexico as a tourist because it won't rub off well on me. My parents enjoyed their time there, came back with a few great stories and how the people were nice, how laid back it was and all, but I know it won't work for me.

One big problem I will have is being approuched by random peasents trying to sell me something. I'm not good with words to strangers and have little patience, I won't be rude, but it will tire me out fast and my mood will degraduate until I'm wanting out and find myself avoiding the Mexican people as much as possible. I hate being so obviously a tourist also, is why I only take trips to France and America, untill I start talking I just look like a local.

I always vacationed in Mexico, it's such a great place.

People tend to overreact what they watch of Mexico in T.V, the North is a mess sure, but the rest of the country is like every other one, with amazing places to spend a couple of days, the south is just plain beautiful and anyone who wants to spend some great vacations can come to the south (Merida, Cancun, Isla Mujeres etc...) and trust me, will have an amazing time.

I'd rather go to Canada or Hawai'i.

Yeah, I acknowledged it was a mistake and misinformation at my part.

What are you going to do? Parade this for a good 20 pages just for a bit of the ol' e-penis?

Perhaps in Cancun. I'd probably stay away from the U.S. border area as well as Mexico City.

A lot of the tourist areas are okay. Cancun comes to mind.

I would avoid crossing the border, though.

I enjoy taking Caribbean cruises, and sometimes they stop in Mexico, though aside from that its not a destination I would plan my vacation.

Probably not. I've just never been motivated to go down there. Also, Mexico has a lot of problems. I'm not interested in exposing myself to them at this point in my life. If there was a job opportunity or something like that down there, I might consider it. But a vacation spot... There are better options.
