Wow! Living in UK must be cool!

I did some searches and found that games in UK are very cheap. 40 pound for a new game compare to 120 aud down here, which will save me about 40 aud if you convert the currency. Just imagine you get $100 a day at work or $10 pocket money a week. Everything is sooooooooooo cheap!!

That's a pretty worthless reason to live there. Unless of course you base your entire life around video games.

and yes the average salary in the UK is probably higher than in the US or Australia for example , but its not that much more, we have a similar standard of living,

Well on the bright side, we do have awesome weather here and included GST, oh and our air is very awesome to breath in, very multicultural too.

The UK is a great place to live if your fairly well off, but as some have said basing it on the price of games alone isn't good. If your settled down well in the UK it's like living in the US except with that stupid smile wiped off it's face.

Why do you think so many other European gamers import their games from the United Kingdom? They tend to be €10 to €20 cheaper and I remember the PlayStation 3 being €82 cheaper here in the United Kingdom at one point.

I think the reason why games will be cheaper in the UK is that we have a large amount of gamers making prices come down fast. We also have game shops and supermarkets having a price war on new games. Day one of GTA4 release it was only about £23 in the supermarkets as they where making a loss just to win people into their stores.

£40 is more than you think, believe me.

Here, in Greece, the most new games cost € 60. But this is not a reason I could ever live in UK. I would never trade the sun in Greece with any cheap game.

It's not like you need to live in the United Kingdom to benefit from the low prices for video games. Since Greece and the United Kingdom are both in the European Union, all you would have to do is order online.

they also have good beer, and a full english breakfast is something to die/kill for lol. English cuisine is actually pretty damn good if youre a meat and potatoes kind of person.

England is also very pretty and awesome, I loved Oxford and London was pretty cool too. I didnt like Londoners, though.

Just because the UK currency has gone rather bad recently doesn't make it better to live in.
